Fear not, Samandans.

While *somebody* is away having fun in Wales, faithful ol' 1speed has received his instructions, and is at home, poised over the video recorder.

Of course, the next problem is how do we get video onto DVD / into a file in order to share it? A bridge yet to be burned (sorry, crossed) methinks... I'll ask my mate in the pub on Monday night.

I'll try to record it straight onto my computer. You do realize that this is on tv VERY early on Sunday morning?????

Wanted to give you some green but couldn't. thanks so much for posting these and the previous reports. You seem to have had a wonderfull time

i was fortunate enough to 'meet' alan last y ear at gatecon. course, by meet i mean the person who ushered them in (i was working the door) told me that it was alan and his parents and that they were there to see amanda. she told me so that, if htey left, i wouldn't bug them about having con badges

alan escorted his parents into the room, they were stuck waaaayyyy at the back since it was amanda, michael and chris on the panel and every seat was filled

alan then went back out, hit the hotel food vender and got a sandwich. i let him back in and said that i was glad to meet him...which kinda surprised him since i'm sure very few folks know who he is

if you want an idea what he looks like, check out Changeling, he's one of the firefighters that slides down the pole. he has dark hair that's kinda thin and has one of those 'i could be a lumberjack' types of physiques. sturdy but not really stocky

he seemed to be a very nice guy

well, i have the toys at work to turn videos into a digital format....but since i can't use the work connection to download stuff and i have dialup at home....getting ahold of it might be an issue

however, if no one else can get things up somewhere, if someone needs to they can snail mail me a copy and i can get it into a digital format (i just can't play pal video tapes although my dvd player can)

i can be your person of last resort, but i'll help when i can
