I missed that they were having fireworks over the river last night. However, God decided to put on His own pyrotechnic show just after it ended (including green sky ) so I was just as happy to be inside.

Hope everyone's been having fun and staying safe. Now I'm off to do some kayaking down the river while waiting for the fireworks tonight!

Very American. *nod* I went to three different BBQ's over the span of the weekend and there was everything from hotdogs to ribs, chicken and steaks. It was a GREAT Holiday. Food, friends, fireworks, parades..and I met someone very awesome this weekend as well.

Love it!

I had most of the weekend off except for the 4th. It turned out great though as I was getting Holiday OT pay for working a very slooow day. Four runs! And we got to watch a parade pass by sitting in the rig.

You need to combine kayaking and watching the fireworks simultaneously next time. Would be amazing! Hope you had a great time!

Fireworks make me think of being at TSE in Vancouver. Great fun grabbing burgers from Vera's and sitting in the park watching the fabulous fireworks in English Bay.
