I'm ageless.

Seriously, I still get carded for drinks and everyone gets my age wrong, which I don't mind. Not for some silly vain reason, but just for the sheer hilarity of their expression when I correct them.

I don't get carded anymore but people often think I'm 5-10 years younger than I am. Except at the end of a hard week.

Nothing wrong with the 'au nature'l look at all! I think it's a credit to someone if they can look completely stunning without any make-up or at the very least, just the barest minimum to offset their features.

There are many days when I think I look every one of my years ... and then somebody will tell me I look at least 10 (if not more) years younger than I actually am, and that makes me feel lovely. I never wear make-up and I just use some good moisturizer that makes my face feel good, and that's it.

I (unfortunately?) am always taken to be much older than I am. I've always thought this was because I've been 5'10" since I was about 13, and have, I think, usually acted quite mature. It was nice to get into R rated movies early... lol. It also helped with being taken more seriously when I joined the army a month after I turned 18. I don't worry about always looking older than I am, however - my mom looks way younger than she is! I have high hopes that I'll hit an age soon that I'll just stay at for a few decades...

Regarding make-up, however... Last year I was diagnosed with something that made me both have to stop acne medication I was on, and start taking other medications that cause acne as a side effect... so while I used to have perfect skin, and should have naturally fine skin now, over the last year its gotten progressively worse and worse, so I'm having huge issues with washing/cleansing products, and cover-up etc. the dermatologist books months in advance, so I won't be able to see one till the last day of August :| Even in my teenage years I had perfect skin, so it's quite upsetting to me... I've never had to buy exfoliators and cleansers and toners and things with hopefully natural ingredients. So many product lines are so full of preservatives and chemicals and such. Unfortunately the mad expensive "all organic" good healthy stuff I have right now still doesn't work...

I don't wear much makeup on a regular basis. When I have nothing going on in the day (which is almost every day now), I go without. If I am going somewhere (other than the gym or dance class) I will put on some sheer tinted sunscreen, a touch of concealer under my eyes, some mascara and lip gloss. For special occasions I will wear more (eye shadow and liner and such) and for dance competitions I wear a lot more.

When asked my age I always say that I am older than I look and then people still guess too young (at least 5 years or more). I always wonder if they upped their guess after my comment and originally thought I was even younger.

I still have to show my ID when i go out i had to show it at a wedding once the waiteress didnt belive me about my age ......hehehehe

it would seem im ageless as well... for the past 9 years random strangers have though i was 12... i am 27 in september! to me it is not a complement but a pain in rear end... the only time strangers have thought im older is when im in a situation where i have to be at least a certain age - so for eg when i went to buy a new car last year one of the car dealers thought i had just gotten my license (17)...

the only time i have ever worn makeup is when i was a bridemaid for my aunt at 12.5...
