I have a quick question. What is Sam's current rank on Atlantis? Is it Colonel? I remember her being a Lt. Colonel in Season 10, but wasn't she given a promotion? I'm trying to refute someone's argument that she has no business leading Atlantis and I want to make sure I have all the details right. Then I'm going to come back to this happy place and read through the thread so I stop letting this person stress me out.

Wasn't she promoted to full bird Colonel just prior to taking the Atlantis assignment? She is a Colonel during her assignment on Atlantis. She was a Lt. Colonel in Season 10 of SG1, as was Mitchell. In Episode 2? 3? of SGA S4, Sheppard congratulates her on her promotion to "full bird" when they are standing out on the balcony at the end of the episode.

Ohw that looks nasty, yeah thats gotta suck, but its good noone was badly injored it could have been much worse
My first car accedent was when my dad failed to stop in time and smashed into the back of a 4wheel drive, the front bonnet was completly wasted and I got nasty whip lash. But the person we were really worried about was my sister who wasnt wearing her seat belt properly and got really bad whip lash across her stomach and brussed a few organs

Yes, Carter was promoted to full bird Colonel upon her assignment to Atlantis.
