Just a flyby post with shameless self-promotion. I've just finished posting my latest fic, 'Rifts and Chasms'.

Set S6, it is Sam/Jack UST for those that need the ship warning, filled to the brim with angst - more of a Jack story with a side order of Sam but she does get a couple of chapters and some minor whumpage. Enjoy!

LOL, S7 was pretty whumpy, but here's a list of S6 eps where Sam gets whumped in some capacity (no matter how minor):

Redemption - electrocuted
Frozen - exposed to Ayiana's disease
Nightwalkers - baby-snaked and shackled
Prometheus - zatted, chased
Unnatural Selection - head-infested by replicators
Smoke and Mirrors - catapulted by an explosion
Paradise Lost - zatted
Metamorphosis - zatted and DNA-scrambled
Forsaken - shackled
Prophecy - electrocuted

I hear ya Kat, I hear ya! I mean it's not like we who swear go out of our WAY to swear because we know there are people here who don't like it, it's just force of habit (at least it is for this "pedestrian" member) and we tend not to think much about it...especially when we don't use the full word or the filter kicks it out (and please, we all can pretty much figure out what the **** stands for when the filter kicks in).

As for your game...I can honestly say I can't play because I don't have access to any DVDs to watch eps to see when she swears...but the work arounds you came up with are Thanks! Like we all can't figure out what they mean.

Very true Sunny, using the first letter of a word, well it could stand for anything but with the **** you know to fill in the blanks.

With innuendo, well it can be taken many ways, those of us in the gutter will take it one way, and perhaps those younger won't and if they do, well then they've already been influenced elsewhere. I however did (as Kat did) find the tongue talk a bit OTT but I also skipped over it when I encountered it again.

Hey, I always miss things myself....call me confused.

So to keep things on topic...how about we make a list of episodes where Sam has actually cussed.

EPISODES WHERE SAM( or any member of SG-1 ) HAS CUSSED
1. (Sam) Jonas, you are such a chickenship. - Metamorphosis
2. (Jack) Teal'c, you are one stubborn son of a witch - 100 Days
3. (Daniel) You stupid son of a witch. - Menace
4. (Sam) You son of a witch. - Bane
5. (Jack) You rat baster. - 48 hours
6. (Jack) I am so gonna kick your asp! - 48 hours

I don't know why...but I'm Oh boy, Jack's gonna fill that list. Teal'c won't make it unless we count Jaffa curse words. Sam really doesn't cuss all that much, now I think about it.

Okay, not a caption, but you know how when you have to jump start your car and you hook it up to another car or whatever with those thingers? That's what that makes me think of. Maybe Sam is giving her Indian a supercharge.
