Okay I may be wrong and I'm not going to try to speak for Gilles, he can do that for himself. But I don't think he meant any disrespect to Amanda with the interview. He asked questions that have been thrown around forums and she is going to be asked these questions sooner or later. Because English is not Gilles first language maybe they did not come across as smoothly as they could have but I really don't think he meant any disrespect by them.

i liked the interview. i didn't 'love' it, but that's because amanda was talking about things that i think were uncomfortable to her so it made me feel uncomfortable for her. when i said i felt sorry for amanda (and wanted to hug her), i meant because she was aware of ppl not being very nice to *her* about *sam* coming over to atlantis. i thought giles did a good job, and i agree about it being harder when english isn't your first language.

and i definitely agree that these questions are going around the forum. giles didn't sugar coat them. but he also, in my opinion, wasn't being purposefully mean or insulting to her.

i think when you are a genuinely nice person, cruelty can hurt even more. there's a HUGE difference between constructive criticism and just being mean.

Don't post bmp's, convert to jpg. Gif is ok if its not some huge arse animted picture. Generally don't post pics if they're over 500kB or if they are bigger than the confines of the page (about 700x500).

www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com can be used to host pictures if you don't have your own webspace to upload pictures to.

It's pretty easy actually.

If you have a link to an image you want to post, copy that link, then click on the button that looks like a mountain with a yellow sky in the post editing section above where you type your post and paste the link there. It will automatically put the [img] tags around your link.
