I actually thought the same with the Sam/Teal'c beats - her producing the tretonin for him, the hug and the 'indeed' in particular all suggested to me that they were subtly indicating Sam/Teal'c not Sam/Cam. And despite being a Sam/Jack shipper, I could buy that somewhere in 50 years, Sam and Teal'c, as long term friends, had turned to each other for love and comfort.

Poor Cam. If Sam did get together with Teal'c, with Daniel and Vala remaining a couple, who can blame him for going completely stir crazy when he's stuck with Landry?

Great fic, btw.

i watched the ep a couple of hours ago, and boy did i not see any sam/teal'c shippiness there. you are being serious, right? i even rewatched those scenes and all i saw was friendship.

as for the episode... it was beautiful. even the daniel/vala stuff was handled well. (i still want my sam/jack resolution! )

amanda was amazing!! and she was in it a lot more than i thought she'd be.

but my lasting feeling is that it was depressing. i didn't like '2010' for the same reason, or the part in 'moebius' where our real sg1 were stuck in ancient egypt and then killed there ... i don't like sad episodes, and 'unending' *was* sad.

i also find it amazing (in a not good way) that jack wasn't mentioned by anyone at anytime. jack (and rda) deserves more than that.

but, the adventures of sg1 aren't over with the movies to look forward to.

Sam and Teal'c were so doing it in this episode. I mean, I wanted it to be Sam/Vala, but it was so Sam/Teal'c and that is just as good . The look he gave her in the final scene over the "torture" of not being able to tell... soooo doing the wild thing as far as I'm concerned!

I'm going to watch this ep again now

Ok just my (tired) thoughts on Unending (yeahhh I finally watched it and thanks Pixiesio for not letting me go alone through that )

Scari I SO agree with you on that final look I was OMG OMG what this man can convey without saying anything it's just... amazing !! You gotta love those two !!
And I think I wanted to quote Spaz too but I forgot it after finally being able to go back and read all your impressions
The hug scene really touched me, I remember Paradise Lost, and just the simplicity/sincerity of this scene had me in a sad but happy place (and I think I'm not making sense here ) I mean, I was so glad to see them close, and how he was holding her hand in the next scene where they were all around the table.... I was glad to see more Sam Teal'c, I so like these two who are so genuine in their reactions and how they help eachother and do not need to talk etc...

There is just one thing which bugs me : Sam obviously never stopped searching for a solution, I don't know if it was because, like Daniel, she didn't want to go crazy; because it's who she is to try to help resolve a "problem" or because of the guilt.. a mix of that maybe ?
But why didn't she say anything as soon as she figured out how to go back in time ? I know she thought it wasn't enough to save them and maybe she didn't want them to have false hope, but she had made an amazing discovery, hadn't she ? I was sad to see her resigned. It was so unlike her.

So, on the whole I was SURPRISED, I managed to stay spoiler free and I really didn't expect something like that.
I think I like it. Ok, I like it, I'll just skip the Daniel-Vala part when I'll watch it again

Amanda was I'm glad she got such great moments to play for the last episode, because she did a terrific job !!

Oh and I may become a Sam/Thor shipper I thought she was going to hug him at the beginning so I was really glad when she did hug him !! And I like how they mirrored the scene of Thor talking to Jack in the fifth race, and the closeness between Sam & Thor (am I really writing that lol) I mean an alien who was able to read into Sam and her feelings

Ok I think I could go on but I better go to bed before writing more silly things

Hey everyone, I got some good news the other day. I put in an application a little bit more than a month ago with my old job. Well after background, credit, references,...etc, I recieved a call this past week that I had the job.

So in the AM I will be leaving to fly back to Las Vegas, NV. The bad news is that it'll be a little while before I get back online. My Dad is happy for me and he's going to get some help for my Mom.

Anyway, firstly I'd like to ask if anyone can tell me whereabouts Sam's bedroom and bathroom are.

Secondly, I'd like to Put this question to you for a bit of fun: There are at least two "secret" rooms in Sam's house; one in the basement and one just past the entrance on the right hand side. What do you think Sam keeps in these rooms?

I reackon the bedroom is at the front of the house to the left as you walk in and the bathroom is adjoining it...but I could be wrong!!

I also think she keeps Jack in the basement and baby Grace in the nursery upstairs...but that could just be my shippy little mind going into over drive here!!
But I could be right...right???
