According to the CDC-NCHS National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey III (NHANES), the average height of White American* adult females is 163 to 164 cm, which is approximately 64.2 to 64.6 inches. At 69", AT is above the 95th percentile for 40 year-old American White women.

*I'm having trouble finding exact stats for Canada, but the numbers that I do find are very similar (average height = 161 cm). UK women = 162 cm.

I'm 5'2"...way shorter than Amanda.

Speaking of Amanda, 'Nightwalkers' is on. I love her outfit! Those pants are so awesome. Thing is, I think you have to be tall like Amanda to make it really work for ya. I like the shirt too.

Actually, HP exams are based on the UK qualifications. We take national exams at the ages of 7, 11, 14, 16 and 18. The exams at 16 and 18 lead to nationally recognised qualifications, whereas the others are just standard assessment tests.

At sixteen you take GCSEs (General Certificate of Secondary Education). These were called GCEs (General Certificate of Education) in the mid nineties and O Levels (ordinary levels, I presume) before that. You take exams in at least 8 different subjects (some compulsary, some optional) and are awarded grades from A-E.

After taking your GCSEs, you may leave the education system, it is the end of compulsary education.

At 18, there are a range of options, but the traditional academic route is A Levels (Advanced Levels). Traditionally you take three specialist subjects plus General Studies, but in recent years people have dropped General Studies in favour of taking 5 AS levels (advanced subsiduary) at 17, then continuing 3 of these subjects to the full A Level.

I took French, German, English Literature and General Studies to the full A Level and did an AS in Music.

How tall are you?? I had my pic taken with Tony Amendola last year and I'm not as tall as him..or my daughter...but we had fun making light of my height...he got on his hands and knees for one shot...I swear...he wasn't much shorter than me then either...and I had heeled boots on...D'oH!

I've never actually measured myself so I don't know exactly. But I'm about the same height as Teryl and Rachel Luttrell.

Sky's (ooh as in the channel, not 'Diver') schedule isn't correct. They listed the eps in production order and not airing order. They have been emailed and apparently have rectified things. We should be following on next week with "Bounty" and the "The Shroud". Hopefully
