Here's a question for Samanda

In the first season Sam was said to have a level 3 hand to hand combat. We've always seen Jack and Teal'c, and Teal'c and Jonas sparring, who do think Sam has been sparring with to keep her skills up

I think she figures that a wide range of sparring partners provides her the best possible way to keep her skills sharp, so she spars with just about anyone who is willing and available. She even offered to train Felger in one wild moment when she was feeling overly magnanimous, but he's too scared to actually take her up on it. She also spars with the newbies when they come in because it's easier to deal with the obnoxious, macho men when she's handed them their asses on a plate.

This is deelishious! Everything about her has an edge, her tone is so "don't mess with me" - Lordy, this is the kick-ass Sam we've been missing! And T's reaction is priceless. I think, after this, Rodney McKay better watch his snarky replies to Sam too.

Why the heck are the American audiences having to wait until April when UK is already enjoying the second half?! Can Sam punch someone's lights out about that?

Hey y'all I saw that clip too and I have to say, I never imagined Sam doin' that! But hey, she knows how to work towards results. AND she's shown that she ain't afraight of no one, not even an (fallen) System Lord. Which doesn't mean I said she's afraight of Baal, just, "I can do a lot more things than you think, so don't mess with me or else".

Oh, I wish you tube would work for me. I love that. I can just imagine the half smirk on Teal'c's face when he says "You work well together." Excellent! It sounds like we get some season 1/2 Sam in this episode. That is so cool!

Chelle, if you make it as far as LV let me know. I'll meet you there. Maybe hubby's convention will be around the same time as one of the West Coast conventions. If Amanda was there then you could talk Stargate while hubby talked concrete.

Now on a totally different note: I just got a message of Julia (aka samcarterrules) and she told me she isn't feeling well...She may have to go to the hospital...They didn't know that for sure but she doesn't know if she will be able to write for the Samanda story that soon...so is there any possibility that she and I can be put later on the list? if not I will write it alone, she asked me to do so...but it would be nice if she could participate cause she was looking forward to it...If she can't write I will write it though...although I might need some help cause if I need to work I hardly have time for it...

is the baal thing all Sam gets to do? Seems that's all people are mentioning her for - if that is the way it is than that's really sad to me to hear and just seems to say that season 10 won't change about the treatment of Sam. One good scene and then wallpaper again???

I haven't seen the episode yet, but Rachel500 did a really good review on the ship thread. This is really, really indepth (YOU WILL BE SPOILED FOR QUEST 2). Maybe it will answer your question.
