LOL, hey hey Gooooober, I'm on Firefox too and my Canadian computer-savvy son-in-law swears that it is the way to go, especially if you have a Mac.

Maybe AT is on Mac too.

the only fantasy i have that will never come to pass is actually witnessing taping. But that won't ever happen, and i'm cool with it. I was fortunate enough to see the set during one of the gatecon tours.

i tried it on my lappy, ran into the memory leak issue and haven't reinstalled it

the ram does the rom and the dvd drive emulates the cd drive while the cpu talks to the usb and the IDE is attached to the mother board

yeah, that was great wasn't it? And that she knows about Samanda means she knows she can stop in specifically here when she needs a little boost.

My version of what season 9 should have been:
(While AT is on maternity leave) Sam is on an important mission with the Asgard.
We get to know Cam as a major who is asked to help Daniel & Teal'c with a mission that requires piloting skills. They work together on a few missions.

Thor brings Sam back to Earth for a visit and says he wants her to be on permanent assignment with the Asgard b/c she's so invaluable. Landry (since we can't have Hammond back

) says no. "SG1 and Earth need her." Cam has worked out well w/ Daniel & Teal'c so Landry says he'd like to assign him as Sam's 2nd in command.

How could you hate your own voice...trust me you could do worse...you could always sound like me

...I've been cursed with a raspy voice box that sounds like I'm sick all the time...and I'm loud too

...it's genetic I'm afraid

...my poor kids don't stand a chance...Niki's already got a set of lungs on her...but at least she sounds like a girl

...as for Tom...the jury still out on that one!!

So wow...30 minutes with Amanda you say...how cool would that be...my fandom life will not be complete til I meet Amanda...is hoping she will come to Australia very very soon...is hoping but is not gonna hold breath...is now sad!!

Dedicated for all the different characters and versions of Samantha Carter Amanda has pulled off for us over the years. Not to mention how real and amazing our sam is, with emotional ups and downs over the last 10 years, however there wasnt enough space to show different variations of OUR sam, who has changes so much since the first episode.

Gotta love accents. I'm from the fastest speaking part of New Zealand and my cousins are from the slowest speaking part of Australia. Apparently it's hilarious to listen to a conversation between my cousins and my sister and me... we can practically get an entire sentence out while they pause for breath.

I used to speak so fast when I was young/er that no one understood me...sometimes it was good...other times not so...but now I have the super power of being able to understand those who speak fast...my mum thinks it's cool...I can actually understand my niece who speaks so fast it's like a whole different language
