Just thought I'd say a very Happy Christmas to all of my lovely fellow Samandans on this day before Christmas Eve, not just from myself personally but also from all of the G4 and on behalf of those Gabit staff who don't drop by here often.

We've closed the Gabit office until after the New Year so we can all spend some quality time with our respective families and friends across the Holiday Season and just chill.

A thick blanket of freezing fog sits over London as I write this and has done for days now. It's spooky and eeriely quiet. It's lovely to just sit by the fire in the warm and read a book (yes occasionally I do get a chance to read, but it's rare - holidays and high days are the only time really).

Thank you, all of you, for a tremendous year. For being an inspiration to everyone, all of you. For showing what friendship is all about. What compassion and caring is all about and for demonstrating what true fandom really means to the rest of the world. I can honestly say at the end of 2006 and as we edge closer to the start of a new year, I'm proud to be a Samandan and I love you guys.

My wish for all of you for 2007 is peace, health, happiness and that you be surrounded by friendship, family and love.

Merry Christmas to every one of you! It's very foggy here, too! No snow this, year, however, just none. I hope you all have a wonderful, spent in family atmosphere, holidays. My best to all of you.

Oh, all this talk of fog reminds me of my time in England with my Air Force family. I loved to wake up and find fog...it meant school would start an hour later.

It has been wonderful getting to know all of you this year, and I look forward to all the fun we're going to have together in the next year. Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

When I was putting all my gifts under the tree, I had a bit of a poke around. I found one that feels very promising. But I'm being good! I put it straight down and I'm off to bed. The 25th is actually my only day off from working in a book/gift store from the 20-30th, so I'm exhausted. G'night and Merry Christmas!

Oooh... I'm so looking forward to seeing my sister's face when she sees what I got her! And I can't wait to see all the relatives swooping in on this corner of the country. Ok, I really am going!
