I'm too lazy to go searching for my first post.

If I'm even more lurker in the next week or two, it's due to having gallbladder surgery on Wednesday. I might be surfing (as in NET surfing) by the next day, but no promises. It's supposed to be pretty cut and dry considering they're doing it laparoscopically. I'm just tired of being tired and my tummy/abdomen giving trouble.

I had my gall bladder removed last July. Recovery was pretty quick compared to other surgeries -- the nice pills helped a lot. I was flying three days later. BTW on an airplane -- not the pills. You should be surfing within two days. Write some fanfic while you're resting.

But two a year? We don't need to do two a year to get to AT104, cos I figured out how we can get to AT104!... Well, you see, AT2 was called AT6 by the hotel so that's a factor of three. So 104/3 is 34 and a bit... We'll go for 35. So AT35 would actually be called AT104 ( by the hotel).

As for touring, Oh Puleeeeezeeee... I say ditch the camper and let's go full on winebago(sp) no trailers required and I want my own bed

I have just one regret in all this...

I sooo should have bought those shares in the pharma company making Julias' and mumseys BP pills... Oh well, live and learn.

I have a house to clean and shopping for food to do... I have a list of stuff (including the turkey) and this time, Mumsey, the "how do I cook it all " phone call is at least going to be in the same timezone!!!

Hey Sun, we can be surgery buddies!! I'm having another surgery this Thursday, 21st ( just 3 months after the major back surgery) to have a troublesome right ovary that now has a plum sized cyst.... removed. I'm also having the Laparoscopy which they say recovery time is less, 3 days to a week. Mine isn't until 3pm! and outpatient which means I won't be home until 10ish that evening I doubt I'll be online at all.
Want to compare scars?

PS: My daughter has suffered from a gall bladder attack. I saw the misery she went through that night so I feel for your suffering. Glad you decided to get it out.

Sun and Sg1Poz I hope you both get better soon... surgeries so close to the holidays! I'll keep you both in my prayers for a quick recovery...

i had laproscopic surgery almost 2 years ago. i came home noonish, slept for a bit, then i was online that evening.

bout the only issue i had was things like rolling over in bed and the like. y ou never notice how much you use your abdominal muscles until it hurts when y ou use them

just take things slow and don't be afraid to admit that it hurts and don't stress yourself

When i first started watching the show, rda was why i turned the set on....Sam and amanda is why i've kept watching.

I loved watching her grow from this 'yes sir' obedient character to a independent woman who knows when and how to say no.

singularity was great for her and i think ITLOD was the best thing that happened to the character. At times, i don't think the writing has reflected that and the tok'ra/jolinar's left overs have become too much of a crutch for them.

I love the fact that, well until chimera at least, sam wasn't written as the woman on the team...she was the team member who just happened to be a woman.

I agree that it's fun to see sam exploring her feminine side...i still dont' care for just HOW they did it. I don't care for how this independent person all of a sudden turns into a doormat to fulfill society's idea of what she should be...but again, that's not sam, that's the writers.

I love the fact that she's a smart woman, who isn't afraid to be smart and isn't yet another scifi bimbo in a bikini and tight pants.
