I don't post here a lot, but someone told me squeeing for Sam is totally allowed here, so here goes:
For the shipper thread I'm making a "love is" wallpaper series. And the 8th one has 19 great Sam smiles and 1 great Jack smile, so I thought I should post it here as well.
Love is ... her smile just for him

She has the best smile
Hi great wallpaper, well done. Amanda does have a great smile doesn't she!

Okay when ever I hear talk of penguins this is the image I think of and all I can do is laugh after a trip to a con last summer
Okay I finally got around to finishing a transcription of the commentary to Camelot - keep in mind I'm sure there are some error (spelling and other) - I did not give many points of reference as far as what is happening on the screen at the time
Camelot commentary Part 1
Spoiler:
CAMELOT – AUDIO COMMENTARY
MARTIN WOOD
AMANDA TAPPING
MW: Hi there
AT: Hi there
MW: I’m Martin Wood
AT: I’m Amanda Tapping
MW: And we are going to tell you all about Camelot
AT: Camelot, Ooooo (Mitchell fighting Knight scene from Avalon)
MW: Hey did you know I shot these scene from Avalon as well, Andy Mikita shot the show but I shot those scene were we were fighting the knight – I shot the back end of them and Andy shot the front end of them so he shot half of them I shot the other part and also that scene were Mitchell walks into that room filled with treasure I shot that.
AT: Oh
MW: There’s you
AT: Looking concerned
MW: Yeah I shot this too – for Peter DeLuise remember we
AT: You did
MW: This is more my show that I thought it was
AT: Even the previously on is yours
MW: even the previously on is mine. Okay so here we are we are in the middle of an
AT: industrial park
MW: yeah this is the middle of an industrial park believe it or not
AT: Couple hundred feet away low buildings with industry
MW: and to the left of the screen is a huge warehouse that we disguised with trees. To the right if you have a high definition television set you will see house back there and smoke stacks and electrical wires, but we did a beautiful job of hiding it all.
AT: ish
MW: and no
AT: yeah we did we did it’s brilliant
MW: look at this no warehouse, no warehouse and castle
AT: I think I saw a little bit of warehouse
MW: so what exists there is that wall – that front wall there
AT: The rest is just a matte
MW: This wall exists and it was really muddy
AT: very muddy, that was a real horse
MW: yeah (both laughing) which one that’s Chris
AT: that’s Chris
MW: you meant the horse that went by
AT: ya, this is really muddy and all the extras, god bless them it was very cold too.
MW: yeah, and in the middle of this show it started to pour rain – there is one scene that stands out so ended up adding light and things to a bunch of scenes. We ended up wetting this down because we thought, this is really our wet down here we sprayed water all over this – because I had to throw Mitchell in the mud before I brought him inside to shot the inside stuff
AT: right
MW: so we just said no mater what we are going to make mud
AT: then we did not have to work so hard at it because it rained
MW: Correct. I love this set and I love to shot it – I love this man too. John Noble
AT: Yes, he was wonderful
MW: A lot of you will probably know him from “Lord Of The Rings”
AT: OooHooo
MW: and uh
AT: were did they get blonde hair dye in the middle ages
MW: that lady beside him on the right hand side
AT: Yes
MW: that’s a
AT & MW: contest winner
MW: so uh the promotions people came to me and said we would like to but this contest winner in
AT: she was so sweet and her husband must have taken about a 1,000 photos
MW: yeah – I said I’m going to
AT: HEY I have never seen the opening credits yet
MW: Okay you watch I’m going to talk – I said okay I’m going to put her in and I’m going to put her in a place were they can not cut her out, I made her John Nobles wife all the way through this and she is acting her heart out in there. But I have to say doing Camelot last year – I only did two Stargates last year and I had the most fun with Camelot
AT: mumbled something in audible
MW: which one that one right there
AT: that’s Chris
MW: I was going to say it’s a little darker than your normal complexion, but uh it was so much fun coming back and working with Michael and Chris, Ben and Beau and John Noble, Claudia
AT: Hey hey aren’t you missing somebody
MW: it was a lot of fun this is just as fun as
AT: and Amanda Tapping (said in funny voice)
MW: and what’s funy about this
AT: and Amanda Tapping (again in funny voice)
MW: and yes and Amanda Tapping – this scene was cut in half
AT: ah yes
MW: Do you remember there was a whole part of this scene before this which had a joke in it, which was a very good joke and I’m afraid we had to cut it out because this was 11 mins. Heavy – which means it was 11 mins long so we had to cut 11 mins out of it – this scene started John Noble talking about this is Camelot – welcome to Camelot and uh it’s a wonderful place and I’m Merik and you will love this place and then Mitchell says “and the knights that say ‘nih” I’m sorry – “the knights that say nih nih” and of course Merik does not understand that – so it was a great joke that was lost
AT: It was lost
MW: actually I have not given it justice
AT: you have not given it justice
MW: because I was rolling
AT: I think we should move on
MW: okay (AT starts laughing) um
AT: aren’t you glad you asked me here to help you out with this
MW: I’m going to tell you something – look at this room – this room comes back three times – we kill a man in it later on – when you are doing a TV show you have to us different sets for different thing – our set decorators I have to say
AT: are the Best ever
MW: in any worlds that we have ever visited these are the best set decorators
AT: cause they can turn around in a couple of days and make this room something completely different – make it a high tech warehouse if they have too – this is actually the “Young Blades” set
MW: It is
AT: this is were we are shooting – if anyone knows the series “Young Blades” we used there set because apparently we don’t have enough Mid evil villages on the Stargate World
I don't post here a lot, but someone told me squeeing for Sam is totally allowed here, so here goes:
For the shipper thread I'm making a "love is" wallpaper series. And the 8th one has 19 great Sam smiles and 1 great Jack smile, so I thought I should post it here as well.
Love is ... her smile just for him

She has the best smile
Well I can't help smiling, when I see all those smiles Great job!
MW: It is
AT: this is were we are shooting – if anyone knows the series “Young Blades” we used there set because apparently we don’t have enough Mid evil villages on the Stargate World
MW; What do you think of David’s hat there
AT: It was a great frizzbee at lunch we loved it – it was great fun
MW: You know what this kind of scene for me, you know the whole board room table, dinning room table kind of thing – there is always not much you can do so you keep the background moving
(leaving the inn)
AT: these horses were great
MW: this is another scene that was
AT: and other insights by Amanda Tapping – giggling- sorry Martin this scene
MW: ya this scene – we actually – this was an added scene later on because of the fact there were problems with the length of this thing and we realized half way through so we ended up putting a number of different scenes in different places – this was one of them
AT: Do I have to cut my hair this short
MW: that short again, yes you do
AT: let me explain to you it is about three days before we start shooting Season 10 as Martin and I sit here doing this and I have grown my hair over the course of the hiatus and I have to cut it to match the last – that’s short – anyway so not important
MW: okay this is a good sword fight, these 2 Catherine who plays Valencia
AT: ya she’s great
MW: and Connor – Connor came in knowing this sword fight so well – he did such a great job and the sword fight was 3 times as long we just keep them going kept them fighting and he is amazing with the sword
AT: how old was he
MW: 12 I think
AT: wow
MW: This is good and you know what Ben made up a number of these lines – when this was put together Ben went through it and said you know I need to be more personable with this women who I love and I went wait a minute
AT: you don’t love her
MW: she is like 15
AT: you can’t love her
MW: how come I never get to love anybody on these things – so you sort of see him loving in his mind but it never comes out in the dialogue
AT: thankfully it doesn’t manifest itself
MW: Joe decided not to let them love
AT: good
MW: a 15 – which she is actually not she is like 25 – this scene to let me tell you all the things that changed in this show – this is all one street – there is only one street in this place – so we have to keep making it look like all these different streets that we are on and this is a little nitch in the back – I had to create a place were this door was – it was suppose to be this huge thing we no one was around and there are all these different places that we are suppose to sneak in – the show is to big for us to sneak around we just go start there – pouring rain here
AT: pouring rain
MW: absolute pouring rain – look at Michaels hair – it went from the dry leavings flying around to this pouring wet – I need to explain something – as you go along shooting a tv show in tv land you don’t have the luxury you do in some movies were you can wait if it’s raining in tv we just have to keep shooting
AT: 7 days get it shot move on
MW: right
AT: Plus it is the end of the season so you have to shot everything
MW: and I did not have the luxury of leaving any scenes behind – so we had to shoot this and what I did was put lighting in some of these shoots were it is night time so it looks like it kept – se watch this lighting there –
AT: good
MW: Jim Mehnard the director of photography had a lightening machine with him so that it looks like we had rain during the day but
AT: very smart I’m impressed with our show already
MW: I love this – look his lantern has gone out and it magically appears on in the next scene
AT: it’s sort of on – it got a little twinkly twinkly
MW: not nearly as on as it is about to be
AT: we are not suppose to point out the bad things
MW: it’s not bad it is simple on of those things that happens
AT: It’s the magic we walk into this magical place and his lantern comes on
MW: magically a special effects opens the door from the behind – I love this set this is one of the classic things that our set decorators do, they put together a set like this – it’s gorgeous – dust and cobwebs by the special effects guys – it’s actually glue
AT: it’s hot wax
MW: they blow it around in a blower – coming into a set like this is it fun
AT: yeah it’s great there is so much to look at and play
MW: as appose to a Gou’ald ship
AT: there is some really cool stuff in this set – we as actors like to hang out and read these books
MW: the ancient tombs
AT: seriously – in between set up we are like digging in the book shelves
MW: you know what is funny I go into these sets early and I sit there plan on how I’m going to shoot it and I didn’t see the dead bodies that are in there – there are two desiccated dead bodies in there and nobody says anything about them okay right behind were Ben is standing there is a desiccated corpse
AT: seriously
MW: yes
AT: I didn’t even know
MW: and nobody says anything
AT: I was to busy reading the books
MW: it’s very funny – it just over to the left of were he is right know you will see when Antonious leaves – if we don’t see it in the scene we will see it in the next one – see to the right it is just above him – you can’t see it it’s above him crap
AT: crap
MW: I can say crap it is not a swear word
AT: ya it’s okay
MW: know a big deal was about the fact that he has to take a book with him – because he goes into his house after that – this scene was a scene that was going back
AT: this was wild to shoot
MW: I wanted to go back – Andy had me shoot the rooms lighting up in Avalon – I wanted to do the same thing in this that I did in Avalon which was that they all light up like a big circle around – because I wanted everyone to remember it’s just like Avalon – this is the time we get to see Merlin – it was important to me we keep bringing back those same motif that we had before
AT: I just liked the fact that all of the flames went off – it took a while to get that coordinated but it looks really cool
MW: this was a longer scene at the beginning of this – he walked into his house the wind was blowing, it was creepy and I have to say the Joel did such an incredible job with the music in this, the music on this is really good – this is a camera trick I use a lot – he not there and then suddenly he is kind of trick and this one he hears the sound o f course the black knight was just following the camera – this is Nick who played the knight in Avalon as well – that’s kind of creepy isn’t it?
AT: it is creepy
MW: you didn’t look scared because I was watching you just now
AT: because you had set it up see – it’s a little sixth sense – I think you actually stole it from me when I directed Resurrection
MW: Yes I use your show
AT: as a benchmark by which all direction should be
MW: Yes – this is exactly were we were sitting with that bench – that is were Merick was sitting were Amanda is –
AT: in the restaurant scene
MW: tavern or what ever you call those things – here that is exactly the same spot were Amanda was kneeling down – isn’t that amazing
AT: was it the same spot
MW: exactly the same spot
AT: wow even I who acted in this episode did not realize that – that’s how good the set dec is
MW: okay there is a problem with this scene and that is that we keep trying to change the way it ended – this scene ends in a weird double moment and I know that of Paul or Joe were here with me they agreed it is a little clunky – what you do is you talk to a man about something he has no idea about and he is not going to by it and at the end of this scene he says leave and of course we can’t leave right away because there are a bunch of things we need to do – it does kick us into the next part of the show which is kind of cool but it does have this odd note get out of here and take the curse with you and he leaves and this scene was add – it was originally suppose to be outside but we put it inside and continued the scene which made a lot more sense to me and I like this explanation – it was a note that the network gave us and a number of other people that people did not understand why the black knight did not kill us
AT: were we running long or something – that why you told Michael to speak so quickly
MW: I know we had just replaced his batteries so
AT: right – just wound him up (both laughing)
MW: he was working really fast on this one and this is the clunky part I’m going to stay and I’m going to talk to people and get them to be on our side and that leads us to this point were we can be outside – now you didn’t like the blocking on this you did not like what I did
AT: why didn’t I like it
MW: because you said wouldn’t we turn and look at her if she was talking and I said well there would be horse sounds so
AT: but they didn’t put the horse sounds in so it looks like – and there is Chris and going are we suppose to stop about here and then we were just checking out all the extras
MW: as one does when one has nothing else
AT: no point or purpose in the scene other than we had to exit in the other room
MW: you could shine your P90
AT: but then I’m pointing my gun at people and that is an act of aggression
MW: True – and here a little bit
AT: well here the blocking was incredible difficult because you have all these players that have to show up at this one convergence point – not a lot of room to put the cameras – mud like you wouldn’t believe – there is our contest winner look at her she is fabulous
MW: one of the reasons we did this is because we shot the next scene before we did this – you see so I had to get everyone in the right position for any min now
AT: there we shot this scene before the mid evil village (on the ship) – there is Mike have we seen Col. Emerson – we have met him before
MW: yeah – and uh he just had such a great time with my blocking here – what buttons do I push – well they are not really buttons you can push anyone you want we will change it – and it looks like a space gate to me – it is a space gate
AT: but in case nobody knew I shall tell you it is a fully formed super gate – getting a little bit of a cold there
MW: I need to tell you this as we progress Amanda’s cold gets worse and worse and worse
AT: yeah we have already lived through a bunch of scene were I sound like I’m talking through cotton
MW: you will not be able to tell by what she sounds like but as we get to the scenes I will tell you what we had to do to accommodate the fact that she gets sicker and sicker until we had to put her in the space suit at the end and she is so sick that she should not even be on earth – my difficulty is that I spent the whole season shooting in the Deadalus which is the same as the Odyssey class – the Odyssey is a Deadalus class ship – but we had to make it look different
AT: and that’s a trick because it is such a huge set to completely change it would be prohibitively expensive
MW: Jim Menard does the change in light – that is the only thing that changes – here you were kind of left in the lurch when Teal’c has to leave – do you get to see one of the dead bodies here – right hand side look up in the very corner of the right hand side you saw a tattered shirt there is this body – there is another one
AT: well that is just a skeleton that could be a
MW: there it is right behind his head (Ben’s head)
AT: oh my
MW: it’s just a body of this thing hanging up there
AT: nobody said what happened to that guy
MW: no
AT: we are loosing our touch – SG1 is not as observant as we used to be – do you think this dead body is an indication that we shouldn’t be here
MW: okay this is the scene were you just really weren’t sure how to end it
AT: there I am fully geared up waiting – the boys go off on their adventure Carter’s stuck on a ship
MW: what does Carter do right now – Hum
AT: hum
MW: you give him the eyebrow – okay when you use Wil Waring
AT: one of the best television camera operators
MW: he looks for little things like that crystal ball down there and he puts in front of a flame so it is the most distracting thing ever but it is fun
AT: but everyone thinks that he creates beautiful shots
MW: I like this scene Ben and Michael did a great job of playing this out – it was difficult – one of them is suppose to be sleeping and Michael finds all this information they both did a great job of making scene out of the scene
AT: that flame really is kind of distracting
MW: it is especially since I pointed it out
AT: see shouldn’t I be there – this is my – shouldn’t Carter be there
MW: yeah but you can’t be
AT: I know because I’ve got to be
MW: you’ve got to be up on the ship dealing with the Super gate – you have to do the same that Michael had to do in this scene which is find all this jargon and make it work so that everybody understands it
AT: but that’s what our job is – a large portion of our jobs
MW: do you have to make sense of it your self
AT: Absolutely – I understand on any given day exactly what I’m talking about
MW: do you remember it the next day
AT: It depends there are things I do remember
MW: show to show you have to remember
AT: well certain basic concepts yes – but when I have say three really technical shows in a row – no I can’t remember day to day – and I certainly could not save you from some of the stuff I do on the show –
MW: okay lets talk about the Whack-a-Mole
AT: Um the whack-a-mole machine
MW: this was machine originally uh has played in a number of different shows but originally these were all controlled by air presser and moved up and down – and the actors found them easier to push them up and down
AT: disconnect it we’ll just push them
MW: here comes the fun part of this first half – this is fun (when Mitchell runs out to confront Black Knight) – now I made a mistake in the way I shot this – notice how his sword is moving what we have done is something called an off-set shutter and you will remember from things like “Saving Private Ryan” and “Gladiator” those movies it suspends things in the air – you see how the grain is flying up and down in the air – it doesn’t really look real – see I’m shooting the whole sequence like this – that was originally BamBam – I should not have shot that she is not involved in the action I should have keep it only the action here – there is also a POV that I shot that I should not have and I’ve learned a lesson here in the way the cameras react to this – it’s hard to watch isn’t it
AT: yeah – but it looks really cool
MW: that should not be off set like that
AT: I agree – wow well see I’m learning
MW: it’s hard to watch thou it is hard when it is that kind of movement – what I was trying to show is that the knight can move from space to space – and he actually moves through space he does not have to walk every were – there is only one man I know that can do this on our crew and that is Wil Waring – he is the only one that can get this launch and then catch and then Ben spins right in time – when you have Nick beinging able to time that sword movement – Nick is so strong with that sword
AT: this is wonderful it look fannomial
MW: I have to say that Ben did a great job – okay now I did this the same way as I did the Avalon one – it appears and then it is there and there is Merlin – you have to know something Mathew is Merlin he comes looking like that with the smurf hat and everything
AT: wow – that Mathew Walker
MW: It’s to bad there are two stunts – you see that thing beside him the fruit stand he landed on it and knocked it over and Dan Shea was there and he took this great fall but again it was just to long – this fight just keep going and at this point you can tell that Ben is a little tired and so is Nick – Ben is so happy he gets to fall on the ground and lay there for a few minutes because he just keep going all afternoon we shot that scene
AT: he was enjoying the mud to – even though he talked about it afterwards he really kind of enjoyed rolling around in the mud – I like that kind of stuff to and I don’t get to do enough that enough
MW: sword fighting in the mud
AT: well I never get to sword fight but yeah – oh yeah
MW: I love this ending I think this is beautiful – he gets up and everyone goes over and pats her
AT: you pulled the sword you pulled the sword
MW: do you think that she is his daughter in this
AT: yes
MW: it’s one of the things which we sort of just made happen – okay now we go from the sword fight to the space battle – I love that – I love the fact that there is the weird anachronism going on in this show that SciFi gets to do and no body else gets to do
AT: Sometimes I think I do this show a great disservice because I saw that modern day fallible human beings it’s not us up on a ship and our show is you know were not like Star Trek – but we have some fanominal ships on this show – I don’t give them enough credit
MW: We really do – this set
AT: I’m going to change from here on out
MW: I’m marking that down on the calendar – this set is happening live the cargo ship were he is actually standing is actually right next door in the studio and I just sent a line over
AT: Live feed
MW: this is why I had to make it a muddy day because we actually shot this scene before we shot the fight and we had to make the decision that he was going to be muddy because if it have of rained on the day and we did not do that he would come in here clean – I guess we could have just done it with a clothe – we could have given him some wet wipes and he could have come in cleaning his face
AT: some wet wipes and purell – which is what we travel with that is what is really in our pockets antibacterial hand cream
MW: you think it’s extra ammo – it’s hand cream – and they are all laughing they think we are kidding that’s actually what’s there
AT: sure you never know what kind of germs your going to pick up off world – you have got to be prepared
MW: I like this scene I like explanation scenes that move like this one there is lots to look at lots to see and it gives us an explanation on what we are looking for – which is what we are going to be looking for all through Season 10 too
AT: now in the background is Major Marks
MW: who is Captain Marks and then became Major Marks
AT: right
MW: it’s Martin Christopher
AT: but his real name in Christopher Martin but because the guy in “Cold Play” is Christopher Martin and there is another guy in the union that is Christopher Martin he goes by Martin Christopher
MW: I don’t let up on him either
AT: I know
MW: oh there is your favorite Vasir – I say this everytime we see the Thor puppet – when you see him appear in the ship there are five guys lying on the ground controlling him
AT: hiding behind the lowest little objects
MW: and our vis-effects people do an amazing job Michelle gets her people to just wipe them out of there – it is amazing what they can do – Eric here as Netan – we are revisiting Netan – this was an interesting scene it was a little but different there was no fight in it – the fight that Teal’c has
AT: oh really
MW: I talked to Chris a couple days before and he said you know I just really feel a little bit weak in this and I said well lets put a fight in it and Paul and Joe and Robert agreed that yes it needed something like that and so we put this big fight in – because of the way he appears if they had just captured him they would not have let him go like this – I like the way it works out it makes Teal’c feel as powerful as he needs to be
AT: Not that those biceps ever would make you daught that he is not powerful – I mean look at the man
MW: there nerf they are made of nerf
AT: oh are they he stuffed nerf footballs in his skin that’s what he’s done
MW: but I think that it adds weight to what he is doing as well – because he could have killed him but he didn’t – alright Amanda is so sick in the scene (on ship with Vasir) – she can not stand up
AT: I really was I actually had to get my husband to drive me to work that day because I was so dizzy and throwing up that I knew I could not drive – so Alan drove me to work and Olivia was with me and I could not even stand up without falling over
MW: so I changed the whole blocking for this scene that you could sit down and Vasir was originally going to move across
AT: and I’m actually leaning against that table in the back there because I was – and I think this is the first time that I have been that sick
MW: She is sick enough that when you are seeing Vasir act and we are over her should it’s not her – that is not Amanda’s hand that is her stand in Nicole – Amanda came in shot this direction and then went back and laid down
AT: I went back and threw up – not that you needed to know that
MW: and threw up because the directing was so bad
AT: the directing made me sick Martin
MW: cool I’m going to have to remember what I did (they both laugh) – did you know that we have almost done 7,000 shows together – did you know that
AT: It feels like 8
MW: here is a line that Ben added
AT: Is this an ongoing theme here Ben adding lines
MW: It was just the end of the year so nobody could give him crap
AT: ah there you go
MW: He just added that line “I once lost my car keys in my apartment for three days” – again when you look at this room it looks filled with gold – did you know that all the little gold coins on the ground are chocolate
AT: really
MW: yeah every time you see gold coins there chocolate
AT: I bet that clean up was pretty easy most of the were gone by the time the crew got out of there
MW: a lot of the stuff that is down there the trinkets and stuff – but if you drape enough gold light on top of it and you put gold lemay and thing on top of them it all looks very very expensive doesn’t it
AT: It does – he is so incredible isn’t he
MW: John is
AT: He just adds class and weight and heft to everything he does
MW: I had to move them off because I have to beam them out so I had to get them under the lights I had set - John asked how to I pronounce these 3 planets and I said how would you like to pronounce them – we called Coop and he said there is no pronunciation you can do them any way you want – kind of looks like a Jiffy Pop hat doesn’t it
AT: Does everyone know Jiffy Pop Popcorn – it is a Jiffy Pop hat
MW: which is handy – guess in the time when you had to carry your food around you just carried it in your hat – see what happened when we saw Antonio’s hat earlier it was flat it was already used
AT: or it handed been pop yet – oh and there they go – everytime something is about to happen we get beamed away
MW: I love doing that kind of effect and know we are on the Korolev with Gary Chaulk – okay I like what happens here – again you have to lean against something because your to sick
AT: yep – and it took me forever to say all these words I was so sick
MW: and because your having to actor with Vasir who swears all the time
AT: potty mouth
MW: we have a number of puppeteers who have done Thor Vasir Himdal who do all of them and they are very very funny
AT: but they have potty mouth
MW: they swear a lot as as we are doing this these guys are sitting there – Morris who does the voice (on camera) of Vasir – okay we get to Bruce W on the left hand side you see the man with the glasses that is the man responsible for what the puddle look like he is the supervisor over at Rainmaker and Bruce has been making our puddles and puddle pass thrus and ships for years – Bruce was a student of mine 20 years ago – okay you have not seen this yet (Sam in Space)
AT: no I have not
MW: she is actually standing on a platform that moves up and down and Amanda is again so sick that she is afraid that she is going to throw up inside this thing – but I love doing space suit stuff – I think it is really cool
AT: It is very cool – it is not comfortable at all but it looks cool
MW: and it works really well – the suite is not made to do much other than just stand there
AT: no
MW: oh you get to see my hands
AT: oh yeah
MW: that’s my hands not Amanda’s – because Amanda just wanted to get out of that suite so badly
AT: I didn’t want to get out of it you make it sound like I was wimpy
MW: No she did not want to get out at all – she said she wasn’t going to get out but we did not want to clean up the barf – so when you see those hands – but doesn’t this look good
AT: That is Martin Wood’s hands
MW: Don’t worry I have done Chris Judge
AT: you’ve done everyone
MW: Richard Dean Anderson and Michael – this is cool lost you magnetic grip – that was Kim your stunt double being lifted off – she is having to bend over
AT: Oh that arm – know here is the cool story about Kim Shepard who was my stunt double in S1 &2 then wasn’t my double for a long time because she went off and some babies but she is so phenomenal and such a great lady and there we are at the end of S9 and she is my stunt double again – wow that is a cool shout Martin
MW: that is actually Michelle C. our vis-effect person said we can do this – know part of this interestingly enough Andy Mikta shot – he shot a number of the battle scenes - watch this shot you get to see it go past you
AT: That is cool
MW: I love this kind of thing – the Russian behind speaks real Russian he said that in real Russian ships the commandeer would not just say this it would be repeated and I said okay well the we will make you an actor and his face light up and he is a wonderful actor he really does a beautiful job of it – this is neat going back and forth between the two ships when it is the same ship – it is lite differently but that is really the only change but they look different
AT: But they are the same class ship – we just pump them out of Area 51 as we need then
- oh wow that looks good
MW: Look at all those ships firing – so people flying all over the place – we have the best camera operators because they are in the middle of all these sparks they just go right through all these sparks
AT: We also have to say we have the best background to they are really cool – how did you get pulled back that far in space what kind of crane were you on
MW: It’s not a crane it is a self floating camera – it’s called a life boat ship
AT: Life boat ship in space
MW: ya and no body can hear you scream if your out there
AT: That is the beauty of space no one can hear you scream
MW: I actually called that the Titanic shout the one were you are standing way back watching the ships fighting – isn’t this great did you forget that we had a sword fight just a little while ago
AT: totally like a completely different show
MW: It’s just fun to do this space battles and sword fights
AT: Our special effect love things like that on the bridge of the ship were sparks are going off
MW: This is a mistake by me – notice how the sparks travel on the camera – why would they do that
AT: Because they want to go from sparks to actors
MW: no it’s a mistake I did something stupid I said put the sparks on the top of the camera – this was a much longer shot were he ran down the hall and was knocked down by a beam
AT: The music is just awesome Joel once again – that is amazing
MW: isn’t this an amazing end to a season – look at the look on your face right there
AT: crap
MW: no it’s just this disbelief
AT: there is no way to play that but to keep it simple
MW: When Robert Cooper and Brad decided what was going to happen here – by the way Rob shot this (Vala on ship) – they thought do we end the series because we did not know if we were going to be picked up and they decided finally no we are not going to end the series we are going to make it like we are making the show again next year – and then we will pick up the pieces with Vala having a baby
AT: there you go
MW: and that was Camelot
AT: CAMELOT
MW: I like to push the bramelot
MW: thanks for watching
AT: Thank you for watching – Martin you did a really good job I’m very impressed
MW: Thank You – yes I did
AT: and your modesty is completely underwhelming
MW: as did you Chris
AT: Ooo the vis-effects were wonderful
MW: bye
AT: Okay Bye
MW: It is
AT: this is were we are shooting – if anyone knows the series “Young Blades” we used there set because apparently we don’t have enough Mid evil villages on the Stargate World
ROTFLMAO!! Oh Look! It's a Baltimore Penquin!! LOL!
Thanks so much for transcribing!! Did I read that this is the one commentary in 9 with AT?

Well tsaxlady, if you aren't a Royal Scribe yet, you sure earned the title now
Great job transcribing thank you very much
I do like the insight we get from Amanda, with those little comments like she should be with the team, rolling around in the mud and sword fighting among other things
Great job on the transcription, tsaxlady. Thanks for all your work!
Ditto! That was a lot of effort! Thanks, tsl ... I love when AT gets to sit in and do the commentary - she always adds so much life and her infectious giggle to the dialogue.

I hope she gets to do more of that kind of action stuff the final part of S10 rather than hanging in mid-air in her space suit (although that was cool too).
as you guys know, scari wrote that baal-samwhump fic for ME. well, after her GREAT fic, i started begging her for more. she told me i could beg YOU GUYS for a sequel. anyone up to (or interested) in going on with the story?
this is what i asked of scari for the sequel: "you might hate me, but i want a sequel! i want to see how everyone reacts to what sam really went through, and i want a sam-baal encounter where sam takes him down!"
anyone???
sally
I'm with ya Sally. And scari--it's your story, you should be the one to do the sequel.
Great job on the transcription, tsaxlady. Thanks for all your work!
You know, it's funny...but a transcript can sometimes be really deceptive.
For instance, some of the comments Amanda makes make her sound a bit full of herself. And some of the comments Martin makes make him sound as though he's put off by her replies.
But neither of those observations are true.
The reality is Martin has never shown anything but affection and respect for Amanda...and by some behind the scenes stories that people have shared with me from visits to the set, they share a delightful friendship where they're free to tease and play with each other.
As for Amanda...I know I don't have to say it here...but she's not at all full of herself in any way, shape or form. Almost too humble at times IMHO because she doesn't fully understand how special she is and important to the franchise. But then, I'd never want her to fall into the trap that so many celebrities do and put on airs. Her humility, grace and selfless attention to the fans is a part of the charm.
So reading over her comments I have to believe that the tone of her was self-deprecating...in fact, when reading them, I could almost hear her using a cute and snarky tone. She doesn't GET why she's special...making her even more special to us all.
...You're ALWAYS Welcome in Samanda: Amanda's Community of New Fans and Old Friends...
Where are the Royal Emu Handlers when ya need them?
Did someone mention me?
The kingdom is big enough for penguins *and* emus. As I recall, the emus are supposed to be cranky and a bit scary to discourage unfriendly elements from coming into the kingdom.
I wonder what other birds we have in the royal aviary? Tucans? Flamingos? Great Blue Herons?
