You can for quit a while if you wear your skirts long enough and wear shirts with sleeves.

Hmmmm, but when you have a date (can't you tell I fell out with mine this morning) or when you are wearing a knee length, strapless LBD to the Gabit cocktail party, carrying half of the country's national heritage sites under your armpit doesn't look too hot.
Someone inquired about where I got the pics of Amanda at the Geminis. Sorry I didn't post this before, but I initially forgot which website I got them from and had to do another search to find them again.
I got them from United Press International (http://www.upi.com). I think they offer trial subscriptions to get the high-res photos w/o the watermarks, but you may have to be a member of the press to do so. I didn't have the time to read through their terms and policies info, so I'm not sure.
They also offer prints of the photos for sale to anyone (personal use only), but they are very expensive ($40 for an 8X10 ) . Having said that, it would be a very cool pic to have autographed by AT if you are lucky enough to be going to AT2 (and are rich enough ).
Here is a direct link to the pages with Amanda's pics for anybody who is interested:
Oooh, I'm not the kidlet?!?! I always assumed with Sky and Strix and the other wise hens that I was the kidlet!
Sorry TJ, the "littlest royal page" seems to be deepspace and good to see her stopping in. Although we may have to censor some of the back pages for her!
Oh, no, it's all good. I'm sure scari feels a little better knowing she's not corrupting the Kingdom's youngest.
Actually, CG has a point, nice to see you Deepspace. And while we're at it, you too CG. It seems that a lot of people are poking their heads up at the moment

What's this about Sam crying a lot in the last episode? Are they just trying our patience again?
LOL - We are not sure if it is in the last episode or other episode - but Ben said it was a very emotional scene for AT -
Know if you want to talk crying (hum bit of a spoiler so for those that like to be spoil free I'll hide)
Spoiler:
Ben told of having a big fight scene with Chris Judge - Mitchell and Teal'c fighting - the last day of filming and how it was one of the last things filmed then everyone cried a lot after they finished filming for the day - he then went on to say he jumped in his car for the long drive home to LA and how when he got home he had trouble walking when he got out of the car.

I worked in a cinema briefly. It used to drive me crazy when I was put in charge of checking tickets at the entrance because while I was technically supposed to ask for ID if I thought somebody was underage for the film in question, once they had the ticket, I wasn't able to stop them going in to see the film. The people selling tickets were supposed to check ages, but that doesn't do any good if a parent or older sibling is buying a younger teenager a ticket to an over 18s film.
I was an operation coordinator for an AMC theatre 7 years ago and one of the hardest things we had trouble inforce was the under age kids trying to get into R or NC17 movies - every Friday and Saturday night we would put people on the doors to the new or popular R/NC17 movies - they would check IDs for anyone that looked under 25 - if someone was underage or did not have an ID we would turn them away and offer to exchange the ticket for a PG movie or a refund. It was crazy some weekends as on blockbuster movie weekends would have 10,000 people in the theatre over the Fri, Sat and Sun weekend.
some places, rather than risk selling to u nderage folks, will card if you even look below 30
Mmmm, true. I mean, I worked in a supermarket over summer and regularly asked for ID just to be sure. I think it was the implication that 20 year olds SHOULD be asked for ID that I didn't really understand. Yes, it's a good line to take, just to be sure that they aren't under 18, very responsible, in fact, it was just the tone of the post (in my head) that made me kind of go "huh? what?"
In the Hotel/Casino that I worked for back in Las Vegas, we had to card if someone walked into a shop and bought a Playboy mag. if we thought they were underage.

Here, it's a criminal offence to sell alcohol to anyone under eighteen, even if it is a genuine mistake. The seller can be prosecuted and the store can lose its liquor licence.
People in their late twenties or thirties can be asked for ID because just about everyone is going to play it safe if they have the slightest doubt.
I think I'll try to get us back on topic. I wonder if Amanda ever gets carded. O.K., that was a lame attempt.
I finally got around to watching The Lake House tonight, and I think I want to see Amanda work with K. Reeves. He is such a sexy good actor, and I think they would have nice chemistry.
