Well at least now I know not to submit my stories over there, not that I've actually read anything over there anyway.

this is from their first round of open subs that they had 2 years ago.

what makes it kinda frustrating, some of the published books have been from teh subs, at least one has, so they can take a sub from sub to published but can't tell the rest the fate of thier subs

I made a new music vid...it is on the song 'memories' from 'Within Temptation' (that is a dutch band...I really like them) and I only used clips from Jolinar's memories and the devil you know....

Isn't it funny how you picture certain people certain ways? I was certain that MandySG1 was tall like Amanda, but I always picture Minigeek as well mini. Now, I'll have to flip and see you the opposite way when I read your posts.

O.K., MajorSal, I've thought about your question.

a) I'm like Sam in that when I'm involved in something I am completely focused. Nothing else exists until I finish the project. Unfortunately, my projects are never anything as cool as Sam's projects.

b) I wish I had that IQ. Wow, I'd love to be able to technobabble and have that technobabble actually make sense.

My housemate is 5'10" . Neither one of us can find pantstrousers that fit properly. Every once in a while I'm thinking, "Geez, she's tall!"

What's tall. I'm 5.9 and i'm 40. In my time it was a normal height. If i hear you people talk about tall with 5.9 i feel a giant just now On the other hand, people who are smaller are midgets )

i was at work and thinking about sam. then this question(s) came to mind...

a - what character traits do i/you share with sam?

b - what character traits do you 'wish' you shared with sam?

I think I share a lot of my character traits with Sam - that's one of the reasons I relate so much to the character - but the two traits that just scream out to me; (1) Work ethic: I remember relating completely to early Sam who was constantly consumed by her work to the exclusion of her personal life. (2) Loyalty to friends: I'm an extremely loyal friend; if I'm needed, I'm there.

B.

Courage to face hardship and fight for what is right. I don't think anyone truly knows how much courage they have until they are tested and while I luckily never really have been, I don't think I have as much courage as our Sam although I like to think I'd be like Geek Sam and rise to the occasion if it ever arose *waits for the call from the military that video-tape showing her as an intergalactic hero in another timeline has been discovered*
