Sam Carter/Amanda Tapping Discussion/Appreciation

I really started to be a sam carter fan right at the beginning of the show. She is strong and independent, which is different from the cliché of the blonde we can unsually see on tv. I know it might sound cheesy but the show happened to be on tv at a time when i was young and therefore needed a role model. So when i started to watch it and just fell in love with the character.

you couldn't have picked a better role model (in my oh so humble opinion) welcome, and nice name.

hey, ooobs, what's the betting that someone who'll put an acute accent on cliche will put an umlaut on Uber for ya?

Anyone else notice Cam's jeans appear to be the wardrobe department's jeans for all the actors in the S10 promos? That cheap-looking material with the white thread stripes prominent through it?

And a question-- aren't there helmet laws in the Canada provinces too?

Vala, more like. but AT's doing the commentary for Camelot. i think her presence may enable me to quell my penchant for sleeping during it enough to read the transcript. she's interesting no matter who she's with or what she's talking about. (phone book anyone?)

I broke down when I said I wasn't going to do it and made an impulse buy at Wal-Mart last weekend & bought S8. ($32 compared to BestBuy's $50). The thin packaging is, uh... *tiny*. It did have the long version Threads (yay!)(I guess ) But I looked through the back of the boxes - just 3 specials? Any particularly good commentaries amongst the S8 DVD's?

How can you guys pick on the fact that he is ridding a really could bike? So what he is not wearing a helmet its just a pic, you dont really know how the scene is yet.
Plus just cos there's a law doesnt mean you have to wear one. I mean the bike moves even if you dont have the helmet on. Just like my car moves even if I'm not wearing a seat belt. (Granted I always do, pretty much all the time, wear a seast belt I mean).

Oh there most certainly are We even have laws for bicycle helmets for kids.....you know a brain is a terrible thing to waste!
