Hi kes! Did a double-take when I saw your name. I used to be "kes" when I first joined the forum and then switched to "keshou".

Got all confused there for a minute (doesn't take much!)

Here maybe this will cheer you alittle. It did for me.
I really need to stop reading this thread because it gets me all riled up and then I have to find ways to vent my frustration. Please be forewarned that Mitchell takes the brunt of my irritation in my new demotivational poster.

here's something i posted on the shipper thread that i thought was appropriate here as well.

"I think there is a worry that the longer the characters seem to just focus on the ship, the other aspects of their character and relationships with other characters are not shown hence the overall character is 'weakened'. I also think if the characters are appearing indecisive about how they feel, this can come across as a flaw to some people (as opposed to a strength in making sure you're certain before you jump into something)."

if i were in amanda's shoes, i'd be pissed too. but not 'just' about how s/j ship was handled.


what other aspects of sam's character can be dealt with?

sam and her brother? ignored.

sam and her dad?

sam and cassie? ignored.

sam's abilities to use goauld tech? given to vala.

sam's memories of jolinar? ignored.

sam's command of sg1? given to mitchell.


sam it still a scientist. sam is still in the military. but what 'new' aspects can we explore with these, other than sam just doing her thing like she's always done?


and let's not forget sam/jack. are they 'together'? if not, will they ever be?


there's a lot more to sam than just sam/jack, but then the writers need to stop destroying those other storylines/aspects.

but what i meant was that i'm *always* confused about *everything*. the thing that was confusing others is what confused me, because i didn't understand what 'they' were confused about, which confused me... uh, yeah.

does anyone know how to subscribe to the phote celeb place? it seems you have to be in some company or something to do it. (i want all the ones with rick and amanda in the same shots)

It looks like you have to be member of the media, or "in the biz" to join and buy images.

I checked wireimage and getty image (they sometimes cover events like this) but couldn't find any more pics. Did find some more of Bonnie Hammer - I'm sure you're anxious to see those.

Hopefully someone else will be able to get some for you.....

All- AT needs some help -- she still has a big lead (approx. 7000 votes) but has lost about 40 in the last 30 minutes or so - they can fall quickly).

i liked it that cam & co seemed to give a damn that she survived - maybe he's afraid of what a certain general will do if sam gets owied???

i liked the infirmary bit with sam

i LOVED the sam/teal'c bit - notice that she stayed with him in the infirmary

i liked how sam played sensor array

i like how she put her foot down and 'i'm going with them' to emerson
