Same here, sally! This at least is a positive sign.

I might be the only one who isn't bothered about Mitchell saving Sam here, but for some reason I'm not bothered in this case (at least as far as I can tell until I see the episode!). Sam floating out in space was not just for the sake of the plot (as riveting as it may be ), but it made sense that Sam was the one to try to work on the supergate. It also makes sense that Mitchell will be the one that needs to rescue her because she isn't going to be able to do this by herself, and Teal'c and Daniel are a bit preoccupied most likely. I'm sick of Mitchell the hero too, but I think in this case, Sam needs Mitchell. She's helped him out several times---it's his turn. The other times he just played at "hero" and it was not realistic or warranted. But in this case, Sam needs some assistance!

what i have to wonder with Sam and Landry is if he's got a bit too much hero worship too. Hammond certainly respected her, but he also kept her grounded. Landry almost seems afraid of her or intimidated

On the other hand, i think that sam is a bit leery of him. she knows, knew, where she stood with hammond (she had him wrapped aroudn her little finger) but she doesn't know where she stands with hammond.

and also...also i think that sometime between s8 and 9 Sam got burned. I think soemthing happened and she got messed with and she's leery. I think that leeryness, coupled with cam's presence has ben bugging her
