The date for Jack is the same as on his "Fragile Balance" ID card, which fits with the 1974 graduation year on the cert in his office.

Daniel's looks like 4/1/65 - which would be April 1st rather than January 4th given the format of Sam and Jack's - but while that fits with him being four and a half in 1969, it contradicts the July 8th date of birth he gave in "Forever And A Day".

I'm sure the military uses the same style of birthdate as we use here, ie. Day, Month, Year. This means that Daniel's date is fourth of January.

Exacto. I've always seen my birthday as 6/19/73...but I suppose it really should be 19/06/73, shouldn't it???

Yeah, there is no proof to say Sam has her wings or that she ever flew a F16, but it is possible for her to have received her flight training. It's just very odd that they have her flying in Covenant but she does not have wings.

It's just a big oversight by those in charge of props and continuity, actually I think they've been locked up with the AF advisor too. Gee that closet is getting full

The way Sam answered Kowalski, she answered as a pilot would, not as someone who sits in the back. And remember in Redemption she was going to fly the F302 by herself until Jack said he'd go along to. So everything since the begining of the show implies that yes Sam is a pilot, (they just couldn't afford to buy the wings for her uniform)

Janet's the only one who's gained. The rules mean that one voter can take fifteen points a day off one character but they can only give eight points a day to the same character and Sam's getting hurt more than healed.

We need more voters to correct the imbalance.

I've already voted thrice and healed Sam twice, so I can't do anything else until tomorrow.

They don't seem to care much for their own rules anymore either...like the time it takes to go from one gate to another. Remember that tracking device that timed the traveler from the movie to the beginning of the series?

And I also remember frequent "Traveller will reach destination gate in 4, 3, 2, 1...."

Jack: he's always wore his space/missile and paracuist. i don't think he IS a pilot. as to why they both fly the X-'s. screen-time.
Gulf War: i say blame it on production. but there's probably a (far out) way to explain it. what that is? bleh.
F-16's: I think this has been cleared up, but model A is a single seater. B has tandem cockpits. both were first used well before the Gulf (late 70s-ish).

i'm not sure we ever do, she doesn't seem to have much in her lab, and it's usually pretty dark.

i think that one or two continuity errors in the characters' histories are somewhat acceptable, but when they just start to make stuff up constantly because they want one character to be just the awesomist guy ever! thats when it becomes a problem.

both sam and jack have been stated to be pilots or indicated to be pilots on more than one occassion. they don't wear pilots wings. this doesn't irk me that much. the emerald in ascension was a plot point. maybe they said, hey guys whats the birthstone for december, and then thought nah, we need somethin' more valuable than that. jack wearing badges for vietnam honours, not as big a deal as having someone be awarded something that they really wouldn't be awarded as freely as that. daniels date of birth and jack stating that he was forty in season 1, again, early on statements that were changed later. while it does bother me a little that they should have just come up with a lot of this stuff when they were creating the characters, a lot of it is forgiveable to me. as long as they don't change these details just for the sake of it again and again i'm ok with it.

and if at a later date they state it verbally on the show and it negates the written evidence we've already seen, i won't be too pleased but i'll get over it as long as it doesn't compromise the believeability and integrity of the original characters.

if they change details now about cam while they still can to make him more believeable, heck i'll probably be happy about it and far more able to give the character another chance. but the way they're going right now from the look of it, i'm not gonna be a happy bunny. i just hope they don't damage sam and the others too.

and speaking of damaging sam, does anyone know when the next update on the heal/hurt game is? i misread the new rules and i need to make up for it. seriously, can a person just develop dislexia? this is becoming a bit of an issue for me lately.

also, i'm watching secrets right now and my god jacob was a big jerk face back then! i wanna give sam a hug. and thats kinda sad, cos she doesn't really exist.

That's funny. Today to me is 06/02/2006. If I saw 02/06/2006...I'd think it was February!

And I don't know how much I'd trust those dates because Daniel actually said on the show his b-day was July 8th, which doesn't equal 4/1 or 1/4 in any shape or form.
