Would it? Orlin wasn't part of the USAF, it wasn't built on a USAF base or funded by the Air Force - except in the sense that they pay Sam's salary and she paid for it but I don't think that counts.
They could have confiscated it for national security reasons, I suppose.
Maybe the next time China or whichever nation the writers go with next season tries to get control of the stargate, they can, with Sam's blessing of course, offer them the mini stargate as a consolation prize.
Hum, I was talking about the car
I mean, the one she used in Nightwalkers like you asked. Isn't that from the USAF or something like that?
hhhhmmm, other than ascension and brief candle, are these consistent with other info we've had on them? as in DOB, service number and whatnot?
The date for Jack is the same as on his "Fragile Balance" ID card, which fits with the 1974 graduation year on the cert in his office.
Daniel's looks like 4/1/65 - which would be April 1st rather than January 4th given the format of Sam and Jack's - but while that fits with him being four and a half in 1969, it contradicts the July 8th date of birth he gave in "Forever And A Day".

sam may very well have logged her airtime not in a fighter jet but an awacs, radar plane
i THINK they flew in combat air space - just above it - so that the hours would count. and i also think that, since the plane isn't technically fighting, females were allowed to be on awacs
i've always attributed sam's f-16 comment - based on the fact that pilots always wear their wings - to her having been in the backseat of a jet on a ride, not necessariy flying it
Yeah, there is no proof to say Sam has her wings or that she ever flew a F16, but it is possible for her to have received her flight training. It's just very odd that they have her flying in Covenant but she does not have wings.
