jolinar's memories? i always figured sam was about 13 (though that's when my dad died, so i'm baised) wher her mom died. so her mom would probably have been 30-40s. i don't know wh,y but i always pictured her more as an arts person. maybe played piano or guitar, just to round it out a bit. Lizlovei know exactly what you're talking about...i just don't know where i put it. looking...

That sounds good. Much more a free spirit than Jacob. And didn't Jacob (hallucination Jacob) speak to Sam about that in Grace? And I'd think she'd have a very good sense of humor too (she'd have to in order to deal with Jacob's stodginess and the constant moves she must have been enduring before her death as he moved up in rank in the AF.).

That's what I was thinking. The guys at the ATFCF have similar print-out and wear type things, but nowhere NEAR as cool as these.

Actually, I was wondering if Sam's mother wasn't the 'adrenaline junkie' and unconventional mom who got her to love 'motorcycle riding and lock picking' ? Jacob is very cautious, always reminding Jack that they shouldn't travel using flight technology they don't master. And don't tell me it's Selmak speaking, we all know that Jacob is the one in charge in the odd couple. . I don't see him being very pleased with Sam's passion for bikes. Now, being the one who influenced her military career, yes, but why the NASA ? Where does this side of Sam who wants to go beyond the known limits come from ?

There's our flashback - Mommy Carter taking six year old Sam on a motorbike ride and teaching her about how they work.

Love it, Love it, Love it!

My 7 year old daughter came up with a good episode for our team. I won't bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that Sam saved the rest of team, not once, but twice, during the episode. And best of all, when they were all home safe after Sam saved them twice during an off-world mission, they all had a tea party. Yup, a tea party.
