Spoiler:
RDA & Amanda have both commented in the past that if Sam & Jack got together while in the same command it would be jumping the shark. Plus in the format of the 200th ep according to the spoilers, I think the ridiculous is the order of the day and that means no boundaries....
Spoiler:
"Jump the Shark" is a euphemism for when a tv show does a certain "thing" that turns it on its keel from good to irrevocably bad. Sometimes it's the "thing" that causes the show to get cancelled. It generally a derrogatory term, associated with when a show does something cheesy/campy/cliche/smarmy/maudlin/OTT etc... so, likely that means that since the episode is (as Brad Wright describes it) "A series of vignettes" (dammit, I don't want to be right about that ridiculous 'fake scene' parade - *sigh*), the entire episode may therefore have zero actual purpose, a total burlesque with no seriousness to it, which would mean (if it were a real plot line) it would "Jump the Shark". ... But ... since it's all going to be nice and fake and pointless, no worries, right?)
Sorry. I just can't get into the idea of another satirical clip-show. I just hope they don't make a complete joke out of Jack all together, since quite a few new S9 fans have never seen the "real" Jack to begin with, and that's all some people would need to bolster their arguments against the character, and his involvement in the show.
