I made a few doozies my first month on the Forum, and incurred the wrath of just about every mod, Darren, David and many of the Forum members, and I returned, sadder but MUCH wiser. I now adore the people, have, I hope a good relationaship with every mod (except two, who will remain unnamed) and even Darren and David have forgiven my past mistakes.

The reason I returned was Samanda.....I missed the wonderful people on this thread. They were always wonderful, supportive and understanding, so if things ever get tough for you, either on the Forum or in real life, come here. You will find friends, who have a limitless capacity for understanding and forgiveness. They truly practice what they preach and follow our Queen's example.

OK, I'll stop now, I'm sure you are all embarrassed beyond belief. (Just one little thank you from me, for all the days you literally saved my sanity.)

This "while back" was around "Beachhead" episode as far as I remember and I must admit at that time I, don't want say "hate", but really didn't like Sam. And loved "The second original team". That's right. But I didn't stopped watching season 9 episodes after Vala left, thank God temporarily and slowly, very slowly started to change my mind about Sam's character. "Ripple Effect" was kinda turning point for me, I really LOVED Sam in this one Not to mention "Crusade", this short, but really cute "chocolate" moment interaction between Sam and Vala-inDaniel'sbody is one of my fav scenes in this episode.

Mg, now when you revealed my alter-ego, I really hope Skydiver is not going to put me on ban on moderation again...

I noticed this change too. I noticed that you now have a picture that has all five as team members instead of the "second original team." I was glad to see that. I also noticed that you started to post positive things about Amanda in the infamous JM blog, and I was glad you did that too. She is a great person and none of the actors should receive any abuse from fans--the new actors or the old ones.

in previous years, there was no need to add both airings together to get a 'good' number. The first run were strong enough to stand on their own. now they're not. And scifi can blame whatever they want - because there is no proof either way.

ratings are statistics and statistics can be twisted and warped to say whatever folks want them to say

skiffy doesn't want to admit that thier futzing with the shows has screwed them up and lost htem viewers....and hades will freeze before they even consider that possibiity

a year from now, well if htey decide to cancel the show, they'll use the very same numbers they're touting now as an excuse to pull the plug

Okay, I have a topic: Avatar! This is one of my favourite eps of the entire series. When I watched it again the other night, it occurred to me that one of the things I really like about it is how kickass Carter is (or Teal'c's representation of her?). I can never get enough of Carter & Teal'c.

that one was good for sam. Not only did she help teal'c out, but he seemed to be the one she trusted.

then, in the end, when they did the whole 'have to shoot eachother' bit, jack trusted her too.

I so agree......I loved the scene in Heroes, when Teal'c comforts Sam. No words are needed between those two.

yeah, it's scenes like that that very simply illustrate the friendship those two have.

scenes like that - other than the bit in ethon - is a lot of what's been missing in s9. little, largely unscripted bits, that the actors put in that puts forth the friendship these folks have

not to dis BB or CB, but is it possible that the Big3 aren't putting those little things in becasue they're not yet comfortable with the 2 New!Stars or the situation they present?
