Also, the first one i wrote, LIbidos and TimeLoops, the reason i wrote it???? Cause no one else in the fandom was writing Sam/Teal'c. It made it unique

it literally depends on who you ask. I like ship in fic, don't care for it on the show. yet, since i write canon sam/jack (ie they talk to each other interact, etc. and, with the exception of my recent fic, the vast majority, like 90% isn't ship) but if you ask some folks, i'm an evil shipper

but if you ask the ship folks??? i'm not one cause i don't write enough ship and Sue rags me to no end cause sam and jack rarely to never end up in bed

They don't have to end up in BED for you to be a shipper! Your last story was totally shippy. I think you're definitely a shipper. And hey, now that canon alludes to even 'more' off screen (mwa ha ha), there's a lot more wiggle room to play in!

Ah, Teal'c is delicious...especially this season. YUMMY. I just haven't ever really been able to see him doing Sam. And I've tried, beeeeelieeeve me, because he's HOT. It's just ... something about their on screen chemistry/relationship that just doesn't allow my dirty little mind to get there (which is odd! - because it goes a lot of other places! Sam/Barrett, Sam/Martouf (briefly), it even went to Sam/Orlin(the first one, not the remake)). I've tried reading Sky!fic, thinking if ANYTHING could get me there, it'd be Sky!fic. But de-nada. Can't do Sam/Teal'c. Can't do Sam/Daniel. Huh. I'm cursed.

Sam/Janet I don't mind a bit. I can actually see that happening, even given canon characterization. I should have added that one to my list. But I have yet to read a three+(some) fanfic where I didn't cringe. I just cannot see any of the primary four characters remaining true to (well, character) and still getting into a situation like that. Nothing against group sex, but SG-1 would not be having any (Unless there was a very foreign chemical or alien substance involved!) But to each his own, as they say. I have to imagine that if someone was seeking out an SG-1 group sex fic, believable characterization would probably not be on the top of their "most important" list for that particular story anyway.

I'm afraid some of you don't know well their Jack O'Neill 101. Remember that Hammond said to Teal'c at the beginning that the team had been missing for 3 weeks. Sam had to use a shampoo during this time. You can't stay with such good hair without a shampoo after 3 weeks, even if you're Sam Carter. Said shampoo was propably from Hathor's supplies. Don't you all know how Jack react to snakehead's stuff ? How on Earth can you think he would like to sniff Sam's hair while it's full of a Goa'uld shampoo smell ? And given that it's Hathor they're dealing with, he should have been susupicious of some 'Hathor's breath' sent.

Lys, Lys, Lys, don't you remember they were frozen and that cryo stuff really keeps your hair in good shape, and I really don't see Hathor sharing her special red hair shampoo, especially with Sam. I can see her sharing her shower with Daniel and maybe even Jack , but she does not like Sam (too much competition for her). So inclusion:

of all teh smut fic i've written, half of it is sam/teal'c

Sky, I think it's time for an intervention; I definitely see you beeing conflicted between your shipper and non-shipper sides. Or could it be multiple personalities with your dominant personality being a non-shipper but you are unable to keep your other personality the shipper in check.

I think all the shippers on the thread will help you realize your shippiness and help you cross over to their side. It maybe painful at first, but I'm sure Sally will help you all she can.

i so can't see sam/daniel

friends? oh yeah. more? nah.

in one way i don't mind sam/janet. but my issue seems to be, in a lot of the fic i've tried, sam gets butchified which just doesn't fit how i see her.

is she tomboyish? sure. but the author often makes her so manly that she's jsut not sam

the same with jack/daniel. either daniel is this shy retiring violet or jack is so smarmy and ooshy gooshy that i just can't reconcile the charcter on the screen with the names in the fic

on the show i don't think i could ever see sam/teal'c as anything but friends.

he's the one person that's been there for her throughout everything. jack's been gone for months, daniel for a year, but teal'c's always been there

i think she depends on him more than she realizes. and i think he's massively fond of her

in fic??? hey, in fic i can have fun, although most of my fic just has theem as friends, not lovers.

out of my300+ stories, just a fraction of them are smut. the friendship angle is a lot more fun to play with

Hey y'all I know I havn't been 'round for long, but I'll post more now. One of the reasons is: Until July there are no new Stargate or Antlantis episodes. So that means I'm gonna get "redrawl" symptoms. In a world with no Stargate, Stargate Atlantis Or, Amanda, I'm gonna go WACKO!

mmmmmm If I watch one episode a day, from season 1-9 I just might be on scheme. Anyway's I'll try to post more and, hope to see y'all again soon.
