Thor( thinking) : So this is the strange human custom of which O'Neill speaks so highly. I understand now why he seems to enjoy this hugging as a means to express one's gratitude or affection( especially when it's coming from Major Carter. )

I'm pretty sure this has already been discussed considering that this is the thread for Sam, but I just thought back to all of the episodes for this season, except for 'Camelot' since it hasn't aired yet, and it just struck me that Sam hasn't really played a big part this season. I mean, there haven't really been any episodes where you could say, 'this is about Sam,' or 'this is something Sam has to deal with.' Of course there were things that Sam had to solve but those were the typical SGC problems that she's always called on to figure out.

I never saw any ep from season 9 but it seems they let AT play a 'smaller' role. The excuse TPTB gives is that so the new personages can be fully explored so it goes more about Mitchell and Vala then about the whole team. I hope our Sam comes back in S10
But it seemed 'Ripple Effect' was a good episode for Sam. No?

Everybody ready for the madness that is finale night?! This will be my third finale night since visiting GW, second since being a member. Bring on the craziness!

I know this is a little OT, but I'm slightly confused. Someone wrote me a review for shattered praising my cross-pollination of shows (confusion point No 1... I never intended to combine any shows) ie SG-1 and BSG (or was it BGS... I dunno.)

Anyway, apart from the fact that I never meant to "cross-pollinate", what the hell is "BSG"? Is it a TV show? And why on Earth would my fic be a "cross-pollination"? Anyone?
