I did see it, thanks to the wonders of cyberspace, and it's a nasty injury. Methinks the Royal Accountant should pay a visit to the ER tonight rather than waiting until tomorrow morning for the local doc.

Hmm, I wonder if Dr. Fraiser makes house calls from her AU!! Can we beam her down to Coley's place?

I really feel as if I'm out of my league around many of our fellow Samandans, because I do believe I would probably still be a pile of mush on my kitchen floor if I had obtained such an injury.

Just watched the MacGyver ad. It's really amusing that it happened. All this week in France, my friends and I have been singing a parody of "I never Loved You Anyway" by the Corrs involving MacGyver, and one guy managed to catch an ep on French TV. He was saying how much he wishes that they'd resurrect him. Then I come back and look what's happened?!?! Mac's got an ad!!!

But RDA has put on a little weight round the middle, hasn't he?

Oh, I think I would too. The only icky injury I've obtained was when I was 14 and was stabbing my potato with a sharp knife, ready to put in the microwave. I was holding the potato in my left hand and managed to put the knife right through the potato and my hand, so it came out the other side. I ran round the house screaming cos it hurt so much. I still have the scar now!

ouch. that looks like a lot of blood.

you know, there is a time limit on stitches, like 10 hours or something. if you wait too long, they can't stitch it and you have to wait for it to heal naturally.

which can take weeks, especially on a place like your hand that is moved around and bumped a lot.

might be worth a trip to the er just to be safe

oh gosh everyone (well almost CG/1Speed) is being so sweet I'm rather embarassed. I only mentioned it so I could tease the jester!!

I've actually choped some of my hand off - so stitches are no good. Our a&e are so slow that it would probably be tomorrow before I got seen anyway.

1speed did offer to rush over on his shiny white bike - but seeing as he is over 20 miles away - how could I do that when the superbowl is pending!!

Thanks for all the concern. I shall promise to go to the doc's first thing tomorrow!!
