I didn't realise that was one of the times. It's so amazing that she ploughed her way through it and kept smiling and hoping. It's such an inspiration to us all. I know if I had just a fraction of her strength...

        ...Arrrrgh. Waterworks.

Edit: I'm gonna add to this a note of explanation. I lost a baby last January. In fact, it will be a week on Tuesday. Knowing everything that Amanda went through was what kept me going, and she really is truly inspirational. I knew she had had two miscarriages, but I didn't know it was at that time. My heart goes out to her, it really does, because I know what that pain is like, both physical and emotional.

i've changed my mind; you're right.

(was going to green you but couldn't)

Strix, you should have known better, my dear. You give the Royal Accountant an inch and, before you can say Sam Carter, she stretches it into a mile!! I could see this coming as soon as you mentioned "Celtic remains" ...

And my dear Calamity Spaz, keep in mind that I'm your "voix de la raison". That said, you have to listen to me and I'm not listening to you, especially when you're incoherently babbling about ship.
no offense taken. ship's not meant for everyone. so shall it be is shippy in that it deals with the au sam and jack, so it's not 'ours', and forever is a loose sequel to that and about daniel

there are a few fic scattered here and there, but i think Evolution is my biggest ship endeavor

to some, ship is in your pov. ask a genner and i'm a ship writer, largely because a lot of my fic has ust in it, jsut not the 'we gotta shag each other' ust.

but ask the shippers on the s&j list...i'm not a shipper because my ust isn't enough

              LOL

it's actually quite ironic and amuses me to no end

I guess the only way to remain inspired is to check out Season Eight episodes and go from there. Sad.
                thanks for the plug.

i've actually found myself writing a lot of au fic. ask 'what if' and see if i can do something different or take the show in an unexpected direction

that was actually said you to?

(you must remember to never ask that list anything, if you don't want it to end up in a hussy battle)

not in as many words, but yeah, to the 'gen' folks i'm way too shippy because i do have sam and jack as friends in my fic. but to the shippers, well since they just are friends most of the time, it's not shippy enough

So for those in the U.S. that were able to watch tonight's SG-1 episode what is your rating 1 being boring and 5 being great? Is it worth watching the 2nd showing since I missed the first showing of the episode?

                              it's kinda eh.

had some good cam and sam moments. and we learn a bit about cam's past.

it did seem to be a bit of a set up though. 'we need to flashback, so how will we make it happen' kind of thing. and the ending was rather predicitible.

a bit of revisions redux and about the only thing that kept it from being cringe wrothy was, if rda was still on the show, then the angst (cause you know he woulda been the 'victim') between him and sam woulda made it cringeworthy for me

                              about a 3 out of 5

decent but no real twists or zings...but if you want a glimpse into cam's past, then you do get that
