Do you know, I have a TV in my room here in Southampton but barely use the thing. I use it for watching DVDs and sometimes as background noise, but apart from that I use it once a week for QI. When I remember.

"acquire"....hehe. Interesting description. I don't acquire. My mum tapes them and then I Gate myself sick when I go home. It usually gets to the point where I can't say anything that isn't a Gate quote and I'll scream if I see another episode. LOL, Sky, yer nuts. You write fabulously. I really enjoy your gen stories and I've loved all the Sam/Jack ones you've done. 'Ship doesn't have to be drippy and gooey to be great (in fact, I prefer it when it's not for this particular pairing!). Understated and powerful is my favorite flavor for Sam and Jack. I admit, I don't read Sam/Teal'c (well, I read one if yours and it was well written, but I can't wrap my head around Sam/Teal'c, no matter how I try it refuses to budge). As a weird fanfiction PS... I've noticed that my fic reading prefs for S/J have changed a bit since end of season eight; I think because in my head, those two finally decided to give 'it' a try. I used to live for UST; now-a-days, I've really been enjoying the EST-RL fics I've been reading (long as they're not drippy and gooey, lol), maybe it's because my head wants to move the story forward and a million years of UST just got frustrating after a while. Anyway, it's weird, but I realized that I think of S/J UST as being "in the past" these days. Even though we've had no canon statement otherwise. Weird? Yeah! Oh well. It's my own nutball head I guess.
