Rare Pairings

My favorite "rare" pairing is Sam/Martouf/Lantash.

I find it both fascinating and entertaining the different pairings that people like. Take me for example, Hammond and Fraiser is rare. I can't put my finger on why I've chosen them but I don't like any other pairings.

I like many pairings, some more than others obviously. If the characters fit, than I can more or less pair them.

And sometimes I'm just going like, "Wouldn't they look cute together?" (and thus my love for Myka Bering/Helena G. Wells was born - Warehouse 13).

In some TV shows I watch, I've always paired people together, some I haven't. I always seem to choose ones that I know won't be all that common amongst other fans. It's annoying when trying to find fanfics and even more daunting when considering posting one of my own!

I watch a lot of shows, but I don't ship in all of them... I'd say only 0,1% are ship-shows. And I rarely follow the majority.

I was * always* a Catherine/Grissom shipper on CSI. I could even have been convinced by Catherine/Nick latterly. I could never get my head around Sara/Grissom, mostly because of the age difference and the awkwardness. Yet Sam/Jack is my OTP and they have a 16 year age gap!

I don't often massively ship rare pairings but I can see the potential sometimes. I think if AT hadn't had such fantastic on-screen chemistry with RDA, in the early days I could have been easily drawn to Jack/Janet. The scene where he asks her to experiment on him in Broca is oddly quite "shippy".
