My problem isn't the funds, it's the family. I'm still hoping to go.

How could they possibly not want to let you rampage through Vancouver with us again - drooling and cackling over the border guards, explaining WHY six "normal" women are going to a sci fi convention, taking photos of sulphur works (that would probably get us arrested as terrorists now ), let alone shrieking at the guests, licking the set ( ) on the tours and blinding eveyone in sight with our camera flashes.....

Well, if it's any consolation, when my sister and I were going through customs last year, every agent there KNEW what we were there for..... And it wasn't the famous maple syrup!

I wonder if it was the minivan of 6 hussies passing thru the border at about the same time that warned them When we all went thru they had no idea, and were perfectly confused at the concept of going to another country for a sci fi convention.....

LOLOLOL!!!! That's so funny - I had a dream the other night that I bought the $315 million winning ticket in the Mega Millions lottery last week, and bought con tickets for everyone here any flew everyone into Vancouver!!!!!

One last piccie before I head for bed - Was roused from sleep at 8am this morning by the melodious sound of...... A CHAINSAW???!?! Leave it to our brain-dead apartment manager to tell the tree trimmers to come on not only a Saturday, but at 8am as well. I think her answering machine was probably melted by the time I got done with it. And the tree trimmer guys? Picture me running out onto our back balcony, in my PJ's and my hair standing straight up, screaming something along the lines of it being 8am and to stuff the chainsaw somewhere the sun doesn't shine.......

So now I'm outta here - one last thunk for the night!
