What a trooper! Amanda really seemed like she was having a good time. But I can't say I'd watch Ghosthunters again, unless Amanda came back as a guest...

This cracked me up. In the write-up about the Once Upon a Cure thing, there was this:

Amanda Tapping (X-Files, Sanctuary, Stargate: Atlantis)

Huh. She played a **body** in one episode of X-Files. She was on SG: A for one season. She played a brilliant, talented doctor of astrophysics for *ten* years and two movies on a little known show called...gosh, what was it? Star...star...oh yeah. Stargate: SG-1.

I've said this before, but I'll say it again.

I LOVE CARTER WITH LONG HAIR.

Yeah, I know it's outta regs like that, but damn if it isn't soft and feminine and mature. I think it perfectly reflects how she's developed into a strong capable leader over the years, and how she's allowed herself to develop as a woman too.

And aesthetically, it totally suits her as she got older, for whatever reason. It's just awesome.
