it might have been amanda's idea, not wanting to overshadow the atlantis cast, with it being 'their' farewell more than hers. i could so see her doing that.

Don't know, but he missed some of the other cast members as well.

I had the same thought about AT perhaps keeping a lower profile and leaving the limelight to the other cast.

after you go through customs and such, there's the area where it's public access, but there's this half glass wall with a railing separating the arrivees from the people waiting for them for about 30-40 feet.

I didn't pay much attention to the advertising on the wall when i flew through there, and it could have changed since then, but it does looks like the air port. And it's a place where anyone can get access to, no security, etc. (beyond any public building that is)

If you happen to be waiting for someone, for example if you were a fan trying to see her, doesn't take a genius to search for flights from LAX to YVR and to wait for the plane. There are only so many flights and given her schedule, you'd have to know she'd fly back Sun or Mon. You got the time to spend, you might luck out.

Yep, that sounds like Amanda. It makes sense, since she always said it was not her show, it was theirs so I geuss she wanted them to enjoy that time more, and not get too much into the spotlight.
