Nope, her hair isn't really black...it is very dark brown. I should know, mine is as dark as hers and people seem to think my hair is black. In some lighting it does look black, but in other lighting, you can see that it's very dark brown.

Ditto. I get people thinking my hair is black ALL the time. It's so annoying.

Love Claudia with black hair, though.

Believe me there's no way you'll see Claudia as Aeryn in Vala (confused?) come S9. Apart from the same actress the characters have not much in common.
They both hide their true feelings very well, though.

and back to Farscape

i was soo sad to see farscape end the relationship between areyn and john was soooo convincing and funny!! But when Browder and Black were assigned to season nine of startgate i was sooo happy even tho they are not together it more Daniel and Vala it still brings back bit of the old Areyn Soon, which makes me happy

I would like to see Vala become a main character in season 10, i already know she has a little girl who is born wiv knowledge soo hopefully that will be the start of a new lead role for her, i would be nice to see another female lead role because both Tapping and Black are strong Actresses

SG-P has the opportunity to interview actress Claudia Black, to be precise our soon to be officially announced web site.

Besides her role as Aeryn Sun in "Farscape", Black appeared in "Pitch Black" and made a couple of guest appearances on other shows. Apart from that, since two years she's been appearing in a guest role on "Stargate: SG1" as Vala and will be part of the main cast next year.

Her schedule is very hectic but she's willing to take the time for this interview. So if you have questions for the actress, you can ask them in the forum. All questions are collected and a selection of them will be sent to Claudia Black.
