Not at all. about the look i feel like you but about the characters, they are soooo different, i can't compare.

I think Vala need more development. we hardly know her. She was only in 7 episodes in season 9.

That could be it, though I've only seen about five eps of Farscape in syndication so far. It comes on at the oddest times and moves around a bit.
