TVLine has learned exclusively that the erstwhile MacGyver and Stargateverse alum will guest star on the sophomore comedy as Keith, an imposing patriarch who finds Jimmy (played by Lucas Neff) talking to his daughter at Howdy’s. Based on when he steps into the conversation, Keith suspects that Jimmy is hitting on his little girl — which is kind of an issue, you see, since the lass will be played by Anderson’s 13-year-old real-life daughter, Wylie.

I saw that too! I saw the preview at the end of the last episode and thought, no it can't be him! My son was waiting for a Stargate joke but I don't think there was one.

Micheal Shanks played a character I enjoyed greatly in the series Burn Notice. In my opinion though the character was taken out of play far sooner that he should have been. It would have been nice to see the character further develop and mature.

Morena Baccarin (Adria) was a guest Tuesday night on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. She said she got married to a filmmaker during Thanksgiving weekend. She's currently on the Showtime series, "Homeland." When answering a question about what hair color she likes on a man (her current co-star on "Homeland" has red hair) she replied that she likes bald men.

A Google search and I found Morena married director Austin Chick on Nov 26th. Congratulations to them both.

Michael has checked in with the news - and The Hollywood Reporter has posted an article confirming - that U.S. network NBC is eyeing Saving Hope for its summer schedule.
