To me if they are any of the races we have seen its either the Crystal Skull aliens or the Spirits of the Salish both of whom were quite advanced. One was out of phase and were giants as well as enemeies of the Goa'uld and the other had shape shifting powers and did not use any 'visible' signs of technology.

In the name of the Gods, ships shall be built to carry the warriors out among the stars and we will spread Origin to all the unbelievers. The power of the Ori will be felt far and wide and the wicked shall be vanquished' -

i recently watched that episode and thats what i thought. it would be a good thing if they were because we already know them in a way. they were VERY cool and they look advanced enough to help sg1 against the ori....
I agree with you. Quetzalcoatl seemed to be an ascended being, which would point to his race being a far advanced bunch. They had been active on Earth in the distant past which may show them as being allied with the Ancients and their transdimensional technology is remarkably similar to the Merlin "mantle" device.
I've been hoping for a return of Nicholas Ballard for a long time. Shame it doesn't seem like it's ever going to happen.

Personally. Until I'm told otherwise. The furlings are the Crystal Skull aliens in my books.
I wanna say that, I wait that he(The Firlings) are not only something to keep the alive series, and that perhaps never let us come to discover that they really are.
