Ah...there they are.
It makes the design complete to see them.
Fighter squadrons are normally over five. Six, eight and ten are the norms for squadron sizes I think. It's sometimes an odd number on return though...
It was funny at the time. You had to be there to understand...
Quite lengthy. I will study and review. Thank you.

Actually they are usually multiples of 6 or 8. The Deadalus has 16, the promethius has 12, other designs have 32, 48, 64, 72 etc. Its because they can be divivded in to squadrens easier. Multiples of 5 dont really work and create odd number groups. Deadalus has 2 Squadrens of 8 Fighters Red and Blue i think. The Antartica battle also had 16 fighters i believe, with 2 Squads of 8.
And yes the guidei s a bit length but its the only one of its kind and it 4 years old already. That just makes me feel ancient. However all the principles still apply.
I conducted a 15 page Google survey of the most common Aircraft formations, Odds vs. Even.
Odd Formations occured 31 times
Of the Odd numbered Formations 7 were World War II and earlier era.
Even Formations occured 27 times
Of the Even numbered Formations only 2 were World War II and ealier era.
Also Note:
Even numbered Formations are most commonly in 3 and 5.
Even numbered Formations also appear to be more frequent with any aerial display, Military or otherwise.
Odd numbered Formation were commonly in groups of 6. Sometimes 8 and as high as 12.
Odd numbered Formation also appear to be more frequent with military excercises.
Additional:
World War II Era Formations were almost exclusively 3 of 5 fighter formations.
The most common images are of Aerial Displays Primarily and Combat formations in Secondary.
It's too big. the daedalus is much bigger than that in comparison to atlantis. You might want to put a bit more detail on the buildings, i can see a plain cone there. Go into view and tick hidden geometry. Then you can push pull parts you want out. Works wonders wth tires
EDIT: Didn't notice 'THE CITY OF SPARTA' before. Must be huge then. Try a small ship for detail practice.
