Another concept I was thinking of was a special variant of a Goa'uld pyramid ship equipped with a solar-based superweapon.

To activate the superweapon, the apex of the pyramid splits open and slides into the ship to reveal a massive chamber taking up the majority of the interior of the pyramid ship, which cannot land on pyramids now due to a flattened bottom.

Once the large interior chamber is open to space, the superweapon forms a hyperspatial link between the core of the local star and the centre of the ship. The superweapon can then fire a promenance-like river of plasma at an enemy ship, effortlessly vaporising them. Intense energy fields confine the solar plasma and direct the flare, alowing it to form a chain effect, hitting one ship and then flowing into another. The ship cannot use it's weapon in deep space, or too far away from a star to form a hyperspatial link.

The 'superweapon' was not intended to be a weapon, but instead to study the solar plasma and the physics of stars by looking into the heart of the star and it's contents.

Otherwise the ship is unarmed, and is equipped with more specialised shields that allow it to survive harsh solar conditions, but are weaker when fired upon. The ship also does not possess a hyperdrive, and must be towed through hyperspace by another ship.

The ship was intended mainly as a research vessel.

The ship was constructed a long time ago by a Goa'uld scientist specialising in the study of solar phenomenon. However, due to a malfunction his ship was pulled into the star and he was presumably killed.

Was the ship destroyed or just losted.

But the weapons sound a cool but instead of making the weapon for destroying ship, make so that it was use to destroy asmosphere around a planet, which given the power such a weapon could produce would easily doable and also more likely due to is it limited armaments and defences.

I mean that I don't have my computer with sketch-up hooked up to the internet, I have to use the ones at the library. And I'd like to show everyone the limited progress I've been making on some practice ships, but I wanted to do that with the entire model instead of just a single shot of one.

What do you think of my newest ship.
Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

It is interesting, but I think that the sub-light speed is far too close to actual light speed. That is about all I can think up to say on a cursory glance at it.

Here's my first more or less completed Sketch-Up model. It is a new class of ship for a new alien race, I made it completely in shetch-up though so I haven't made an actual spec sheet for it. I'll post the stuff that I remember after the spoiler tags.

Name: Hege Destroyer(I don't know what it's actual name is yet)

Length: 89 m(somewhere around that figure)

Width: 30 m(that measurement is unconfirmed)

                      Height: 15 m(see above comment)

                      Crew: 67(including officers)

                      Power generators

                      2x controlled fusion reactors
                      4x long term capacitors

                      Sensors

                      7x Remote Telescopic Array(RTA) units

                      Defenses

                      Material#6 hull plating and superstructure

weak magnetic field(meant to redirect harmful cosmic radiation)

                      Weapons

13x standard Hege Mag-gun turrets(each turret has two barrels[the projectile is about the size of an average human fist, give or take a few inches])

2x linear Mag-Cannons(their projectiles are about the size of the average humans head, give or take a few inches)

Hey guys heres a ship I did in sketchup along with my 304 and 303. It is 460M long the 304 is 350M and the 303 is 200M long. I dont really have any specs on it but I think its going to be a large transport ship used to carry 302s and jumpers to off world bases and such. let me know what you think. Oh I also made the jumpers and all this will be in the google warehouse when I'm done.

Nice pics, not sure if earth will ever get that many jumpers, any time soon. But I like the general design.

This is my new X-306 Phoenix Class Warship, I just finished it in sketchup and it is my first sketchup drawing. I dont have a sheet with all of the specs yet but im working on it.
