Thanks guys. I was waiting for four weeks to see Space Race again before I started this one. Though it didn't help that much in the end. I may be doing some other Hebridan designs in the future.

PSL is percent of the speed of light. Percent means "per one hundred". if one wanted to say 0.01c they'd say 1 PSL, not 100PSL.

Please show proof of your interpetation of the meaning of PSL.

i saw the Hebridan fighter and was realy impressed. great job cooky just the fighter the SGC could use.
i've been working on a light bommer-attack craft for a while now and have come up with a idea.

the A-302 ground attack fighter.
.this mud mover was launched on december the 23th 2006, at a secrete facility 30 klicks north of edwards air force base. no celebration awaited it just gathering of techs, a few words from its production director colonel Tom beck and a short by heartfelt speach by retired air force general George hammond praising the design, technical and production teams on a job well done.
the A-302 was developed to assist sgc ground teams and the planned 'space marine' Battalions against the ori and the wraith.the fighter also had to be able to combat enemy fighter in both space and inter atmosphere.strangley the craft went from planning to production craft in just 5 months is a remarkable short time for a fighter of the capacity. to keep production simple and quick no alien technology was used and the air frame is basicly the same as the f-302 thus sharing comon parts and matiance procedures . the A-302 does however have 3 main structual differences.
1) firstly the fuselarge was lenghtened by 76 cm and the wing span increased by 1.8m.this mod gave the new aircraft better handling in the atmosphere at low speeds .
2) the next mod cosisted of mounting a 30 mm GAU-8/A Avenger Gatling gun on the aircrafts centerline. the systems related to this gun were instaled in the f 302's cargo bay along side 2000 round of ammo. this gun was lifted directly out ot the A-10 warthogs. the gun remained unchanged apart for a oxygen feed to allow the gun to fire in a vaccum. the airframe had to be strenghened to handle the guns recoil.
3) the last modification saw the placement of 6 underwing and 3 under fuselarge hard points for carrige of a maximun 24,000 pounds of payload. two wing tip pylons carry 4 asramm missile for self defense.

the A-302 or 'spacehog' as it was known after it's A-10 brother has been deployed in several roles .
1) for carpet bombing the a-302 can carry 27 750 pound rockwell cluster bombs or 18 1000 pound slick/incendiary bombs and be escorted by f-302's
2) for ground support it can carry 6 mavrik/ 24 hellfire missiles missiles and 3 2,000 pound cluster bombs along with it's cannon
3) the a-302 has also been equipted to fight as a standerd interceptor,indeed the A-302's first mission was to assist the fighters aboard the odyessy fight of ori fighters which were assaulting a human convoy of 3 transports outbound to atlantis. it's avionics allow it to carry sidewinder, asramm, amramm, or even pheonix missiles. it can also carry nukes( up to 5 of them) ,additional gun pods,ungided rockets, LGB's, recon pods,flares /ECM /wild weasle equiptment,and buddy buddy fuel tanks, cruise missiles and is planned to be the first fighter to be equipted with the advanced tactial laser along with the f-302 and modified R63/ f-63 'gatehoppers'. the A-302 can also act as a mother ship for a predator UAV or it's more advanced but more compact brother the dominator.all this makes the space hog a truly devestating multi purpose attack craft.

the sgc currently has 40 A-302s in service . 4 serve on the odessey , 4 on the deadulus and a full wing of 12 serve on the new assult ship the titian.8 are attached to atlantis and another 12 are scattered around the galaxy at various off world bases . including 6 at the alpha site .current a-302 kills stand at 1 wraith cruiser, 7 darts comfirmed, 13 darts partial, 3 ori fighters comfirmed , 1 ori fighter un comfirmed, well over 1,000 confirmed ground kills for 7 craft destroyed , 10 damaged , 4 pilots dead and 3 unable to return to duty due to their wounds.the most heroic squdron is commanded by major Sam Janson.the wraiths as they call them selves operating from a forward air base on chulak the squdron , painted in it's distincitve tiger camo destroyed an entire ori troop beachead before being forced to pull out . the time this action bought allowed Sg's 1,2,5,16 and 19 along with 50 marines and 120 refuges to escape throught the stargate before the ori could capture them.

Hub:
The Hub is partly the cockpit of the craft. Designed as a secondary craft for emergency ejection situations it contains a Mark I Naquada generator and a mini ion-based sublight engine. If a critical system failure of the glider occurs, the hub can be separated in a manor like that of an ejection from a standard fighter aircraft, the Hub once separated will activate its generator, sublight engine and the all important homing beacon for swift retrieval.

History:
After the failure of the F-302 in combat situations against the Ori and Wraith a new strike craft was needed.
Built purely from scratch using Asgard, Goa'uld and Earth based technology, with new advanced user based AI integration, the craft had limitless capability.

First was the creation of the Hub, using technology from the Asgard, the hub was designed for better protection and to reduce the loss of life. Next the propulsion was redesigned, starting with the replacement of the three separate sublight engines with two combined multi-purpose sublight. Then there was the addition of a stable hyper-drive allowing the Slider more freedom. This had never been successfully completed and with the updated guidance system work better than expected.

The weapons system was redesigned allow faster fire rate of the Railguns and a new energy cannon was added using Goa’uld technology incorporated into existing Asgard systems allowing more powerful and faster firing cannons.

Sounds good. But the i would not call the 302 a failure. If you saw no man's land the you know that is is much better than the wraith darts.

History:
This ship is a product of need. The hebridans are not currently an active partner in the Ori-Mw war however they will be soon, its just a matter of time before the ori come.
The hebridans are potentially the most advanced, living race in the galaxy after the Ori and the Asgard; As such their imput in a war would be of great benefit to the allies.
Earth approached the Hebridan-serrakin federation explaining the problem with the ori, and praying that they had not fallen to the ori already. They had not, the hebridans turned them away until the mercinary golan jarlath reported a hebridan ships were now in the possesion of the Lucian allience...meaing the ori knew of the Hebridans.
The Morrigu, named after the celtic goddess of battle is a fitting name for the first captial ship of the Hebridans people. The space faring race had no need for large starcraft, thier cargo/scout/bomber ships, which are arguable as powerfull as the deadalus on their own therefore the need for large ships was not seen. however in preparation and to test new technology the Tech con group ordered a prototype be built.
The ship is armed with the latest military and private sector technology avalable including new anti spacial shields and Earth based Hyperdrives. The spacial shields are extreamely powerfull and allow the ship to opperate almostanywhere, from blackholes and star cores...these are the next generation of shields, and although not as powerfull they are certainly more flexible in opperating arenas than Asgard shields. it is hoped that a trade between the two races could occur, shields for hyperdrives.
The ship carries miltary defence drones, 40 squadesn of them, able to swarm and evade most targets and take down almost every ship that isnt captial class with ease. Each of the drones is armed with a laser cannon, sensors and engine making them the perfect UAV.

The morrigu will enter service in late 2010 and will be the first in a line of 8 vessels, with the hebridan's entering the war the Tauri may have finally gained an ally that can turn the tide. With the Hebridan's, Asgard and Tauri on the offensive who knows where our war with the Ori shall take us.
