^ Exactly its only beyond 99% LS that you see the biggest changes. Anything below certainly doesn't have that big an impact take 95% LS (wikipedia value for daedulus top sublight speed) thats only a Lorentz gamma factor of 3.2, hence 3 times time dilation, 3 times mass and 3 times shorter.
That hyperdrive is way too fast, your effectively saying earth to atlantis in 2 to 4 minutes (not sure on the distance of milky way and pegasus) when it takes the daeddy 18 days.

I might be crazy about this one, but a lot of US industries have producton plants in China already due to the cheaper labor. So commitioning a company with ties in China, to build the ships might be beneficial. Besides, according to signed agreements as of when General Hammond and Senator Kinsey disclosed the information about the Stargate Program to them, and that of the X-302 and X-303, the technology must be shared equally. Besides the Russians built the Korelev, so it stands to reason that the Chinese probably have a few ships already built, since they are devious that way, once they get the technology.

I believe that agreement was only made with russia.

The russians did not build the Korelev. The U.S. did and they blackmailed us for it. The chinese will probably not build their own ship.

FTL: 304 class hyperdrive/main generator.
Defenses: Modified 304 class defense shield.
Capital ship weapons: 18 vertical launch missle silos. 3 main rail guns (same as 304's main guns)
Point defense weapons: 10 anti-fighter rail guns. 2 RAM launcher systems each armed with 21 block 2 space capable missles.
Crew: 52

The 308 class cruiser was designed in '08-'09. Intended primarilly to serve as an anti-fighter gunship, the 308 class vessels were the first capital star ships to incorporate a modified AEGIS class weapons control system, specially designed for use in space warfare. This gives the 308 class cruiser a powerfull anti-fighter capability. The addition of 3 large calibure rail guns equivilant to a 304's main guns and 18 vert. launch missile silos give the 308 a potent anti-capital ship capability as well.

The first 308, named after Air Force General Henry H. Arnold was comission in January 2010. It first saw combat two months later when it engaged two wraith hive ships in the Pegasus Galaxy along with the Daedalus class ship Enceladus. Post battle analysis of the sensor records credited the Arnold with 1 wraith cruiser kill, 36 Dart kills, and 7 partial kills. It was deamed a tremendous success and the Air Force requested they go into full production immedeatly. Future ships in the class would be named for other Airforce Generals, giving the 308's the nickname "The General's Ships."

Very nice Cooky. Is it supposed to hold a small compliment of 302's in the smaller deadalus bays on the sides? It looks a lot like one of the Stealth ships the navy is developing. Very cool indeed.

I do, over time. I've currently got 4 wips going I want to finish, the 302,304 seen in the shows (still waiting for better references for the 304's upper section) and the 307,308 designs I've posted here. The 306 I posted months ago I've abandoned. It was my first mesh and I don't like were its gone. I may make a new ship using the same stats, with an entirely new hull design, but thats down the road. I've also stopped work on my Millenial Pride ship. I may go back to that one at some point, but not for a while.

I've also got another fighter, a carrier and a moon base I want to do. Its a familly trait, starting lots of projects without finishing the older ones first. Friggin' genetics.

I thought i'd have a go for a bit of fun, I'm not going to try drawing it. i'd have no idea how.

Also i added the Ha'tak weapons as there probably not going to be amazingly diffoicult to procure and they are generally probably more powerfull then rail guns.

Power: Dedicated mark 2 generators each for the shields and hyperdrive (with tie in to power grid to utilize unused power/pour power into grid)
Numerous Mark 1 and 2 generators at specific points around the ship all tieing into the same power grid.
Also numerous redundancys around the ship.
Weapons:Rail guns: 5 Forwad Dual Rail Guns + 2 Aft Dual Rail Gun + 2 Rail Guns on control tower
Missiles: 2 aft missile silos + 6 Port Missile silos + 6 Starboard missile silos + 4 forwad silos + 2 control tower silos = 20
Energy Weapon: 2 forwad Goa'uld Ha'tak energy weapons + 1 aft
