Well here She is again per your request although this time im expecting criticism and im promise i wont go all troll on ya this time!
Spoiler:
Made with sketchup 7 rendered with full SU podium 1.5
Dimensions are
3000m length
2000+m width
500+m height
And i know its a big ship! its meant to be a future Tauri ship Capable of transporting and supporting a number of 304 sized vessels far far from the milky way sort of a base of operations in an extragalactic incursion (be it Military or scientific purpose) but how far in the future is yet to be decided, i tried to incorporate an asgard feeling to the tauri design as in my view the next logical steps for the tau'ri are a drift towards more asgard inspired tech as they are far closer to understanding their legacy then the ancient database in atlantis witch was far beyond even the asgard.
Note: bare in mind i am under "moderation" so pics will have to be approved by a mod before they are visible!

ok comments and constructive criticism:
1: its indeed a little big....
2: is that your first? cause then you're damn good.
3: check your model and Podium:
- i see some blue in your model, but in the Render its black. this is a problem often coming with podium: now select those faces, use "reverse face", then color the face. now, it will light up.
-(applies to Experiment aswell BTW), your textures appear super-small. i havent figured out why it does that, but the general solution is simple: select all faces with a certain texture (right mousebutton on the texture in the "paint" option, then do "select all" (wont work when you have Components or Groups, just "open" the group and repeat the procedure), then retexture. should solve the problem. scaling will also affect the texture.
kudos for the good ship.

It feels a bit treky to me. 30km is a bit too large and wouldn't really be that practical. Then there's the 304 hangar... 304s have their own hyperdrives, they really don't need hangars. I like the idea of a base, but you'd be destroying london with that behemoth.
You're modeling skills are average, it could use a lot of detail in some places. It would look nice with a good ol' complicated texture for it to make up for the lack of detail. If it is your first go, here's a pat on the back:
*pats on back*

Now then, for a teaser of rendered Aria:
Spoiler:
Do you understand why its taking so long now?Any feedback is nice, be it you think it looks S*** or you think it looks like F***ing S***.
EDIT: turrets are being done in a different file because of the lag.Why Lord has Paint foresaken my signature?

ha ha
well above average was better, but i couldn't think of a word.
You've got talent, just refine it to the laws of common sense.just kidding, we throw common sense out the window and laugh at it as it flails in the middle of the road.

still i've watched some of em but i prefer the "trial and error" aproach i learn alot faster by doing instead of watching how things are done! besides this is the only way to develop personal style in most areas of design/art
