Whoa guy's, we were talking about turrets not wings. And by the way, they're only there for atmo flying, and carrying the odd missile or three. Have a look at an FA/18 and check the wing root ratio to fuselage body/mass. Thirty years ago, you say, "damn, that ain't gonna fly!". Then go back further and look at a F104 Starfighter, practically no wings at all. The AC401 does not look like a Chinook, god man have you ever actaully seen one? Read my data again, and you'll see the purpose for the AC401, it does have freight capabilities, it's like the USN's S3 Vikings, they used them for everything.
And if it does bare some resemblance to a Chook, that's fine, because I try to design things that will actually work. My nephew is currently building an R/C AC401 and the prelimnary results look good. It WILL fly.

No offence meant, I loved them Mechano's (now where is that box of my kid stuff, I'm sure my wife packed it somewhere in the garage, going to look!)
I've updated it a little since I rendered this image but I really have to focus on real world work for the next month or so..
