I agree would look a lot better as well as increasing maneuverability.

I'm back, with another ship.
It started off as a refit for my Endeavour model...but I got a bit carried away, and well... this is the result. It looks nothing like the Endeavour. I've called it Endeavour Mk.II.

Yeah...well the old model is. As this is so different to the old one, I'm counting them as different classes of ship.

No, I ****ed up trying to re-model it and came up with a totally new ship. I still think the basic shape is good, I just need to re-name it.

My latest work on a cityship. Different views...

Feel free to make constructive comments. In fact I would need some advice for improvements since some people find it too smooth... And I am starting to think that too

Yeah that orange dome is a shield meant for protecting the citizens from the void and the radiation. When i render it, i'll try making the interior side showing a virtual atmosphere. something semi(transparent so that you can still admire the stars...

Central Tower : where every important decision is made


Core shrine : Direct access to the High density core fusion providing the energy to the whole ship. It is surrounded by Military buildings.



Entry Bays : the small ones are for transport ships and fighters and the big ones for Cargo ship or Cruisers. When not attacked, at least 2/3 of the big docks ara occupied by Cruisers.


Engines : 1 big reactor associated to rings for the liftoff, 3 big rods for navigating in Sublight which can be associated to the 6 tiny engines for Hyperspace travel.


Drone Ring : A big ring orbiting around the Ship with tubes where drones can dock. When I say drone i don't think about the Ancient light squid but rather an automated weapon platform able to defend the ship in case the cruiser are down. I have not yet finished them but a little spoiler.

they are full of explosives to make as much damage as possible before being destroyed (and helping btw the cityship escape) and they have a big central beam. It is quite close to the Ori satelite except that it orbit around the ship it wants to destroy.

hi,
i was searching for a new ship model to create in a game called "Galactic Civilizations II, Twilight of Arnor", and i find this topic , i saw some of you trying to create ships, but i recomand all of u to try this game , in here u can create your own ships , pice by piece and see it in battle kicking but , i attached a picture with a ship inspired by the Beliskner class ship form SG1, i have more ships , on all sizes
