Damn I love that scene! It reminds me to use terragen myself. I've always wondered if it's possible to use with max.

thank you well I am not sure if you can acctully get the models into terragen, the scene was made in terragen but it is only a picture so it is more of a backround

Well, have you tried sketchup yet? It's extremely easy to use. Trust me, If it was even remotely complicated I wouldn't use it. *very lazy* As long as you do the tutorial, you'll know enough to be able to make cool models. Not that it doesn't require skill to make kick ass models like the one extrenix just did. It requires a lot of creativity to make such a sweet design and lots of patience to put so much detail on it.

The front of the ship seems like it doesnt have as much detail as the back does, which looks amazing.

yeah its not really finished, I just got lazy at the end. My computer is getting slow running this model

looks great but what is running lights? Is it a glow effect?
