@satnamboll28, it looks good. It looks sleeker and faster than most other designs which is a good thing. good work!
well I'm working on a new ship, a frigate. bigger than Prometheus but smaller than Daedalus. Anyway it is to be heavily armed and fast. It has a full through flight deck, the entrances are marked 1,2,3,4 on the pods. I'm not happy with the head of it, should it stay as it is or should i go with more of a Prometheus style head? just wondering what you guys think.

Here is the USAF Zeus with a Prometheus style head, not complete but it gives a general idea of the shape. i like it better, looks.... better. The cannons on it are the energy cannons, and are not finished.

It seems we've got 2 good ideas for ships here.
Titan_hq, that ship has potential, I might suggest rather agressive sculping for the nose, sort of a multi level nose idk.

thanks for the comments! I tried to go for a ship that was different, but still kind of the same..i figured some kind of cruiser or high speed intercept craft would be good..and then i played around with it, and this and that..and then i started the armour..and it actually looked okay..so i posted it..
as shameless self promotion is all the rage these days, i figured i'd get my few quids worth..
I designed another ship (gasp!!) to basically do what the alkesh does..but a whole lot better..i give you, the rhino..

I took inspiration from the rhino..hence the ship shape and name etc..heavily armoured and heavily armed..can carry lots of special mini missiles..has combined arms of several rail guns, and some energy cannons..it has no fighter capacity..can carry and launch the harbinger bomb and the Herald (a new Capital ship torpedo version of the harbinger for use against capital ships)..
this is the first ship to be produced using asgard tech..it's much better, and very quick to produce. its roughly the same size as an alkesh (100m? anybody know the exact size please?) and thus it's quick to build and send out..i'm also doing the icarus class vessel (support ships for daedalus class vessels) but thats kind of stuck..am going to redo it..hopefully soon..

Any of you been wondering how to model the unknown ancient ship seen in progeny? I tried to squeese enough reference from the episode, but I'm just not good enough to piece it together. An attempt was made, and I ended up designing an Ancient transport ship, sharing similar engine layout as the ship in progeny.
