So a type of reactionless drive that the Asgard use?

Thanks for the picture, why is there a large window on the bottom?

1: ummmm.. i dont really know anything about drives and engines and how they are depected, but hey if i knew i would tell you. But the asgard's are really smart so i bet they have a rectionless engine but who knows.
2: thats the sublight engine, like the blue glow that came from the promethesus' engine, but i cant really get anything like that out of sketchup

Here is my Wraith Culling Cruiser designs:

            Spoiler:

            Wraith Escort/Culling Cruisers:

            Name:
            Unknown.
First design of this type used by the Wraith in the Wraith war.

            Role:
            Primary escort to Hive ships.
            Secondary, and Tertiary weapons platform.

            Size:
1900 meters long (varying slightly depending on ship)
760 meters wide (varying slightly depending on ship)
186 meters in height (varying slightly depending on ship)
Fins on the hull cause the ship to have a total height of 209 meters.

            Physical Structure:
The ship has a similar structure to the current Cruisers.
The ship is proportionally wider, and has fin structures across the upper and lower hull.
It also has two indentations on either side of the hull. These are the launch bays for the limited Dart compliment. They are rather easy targets in combat, and are the largest weak point on the ship. Ancient Drones would often swarm here, destroy the Darts, and rip the ship in two.

            Propulsion:
            4 thrust producing engines.
1 primitive hyperspace engine based on a crude application of hyperspace technology learned from several of the advanced human civilizations. The drive achieves relatively slow interstellar travel. The “cool down” periods are somewhat random in when they are needed.

            Power Source:
Six separate reactors of a similar type as on previous Hives power the ship. They are each smaller than on previous Hives, but produce far more power overall. They are sufficient to power the ship fully at all times.

            Weaponry:
            Main Weaponry:
12 forward firing heavy energy cannons.
4 port, 4 starboard heavy energy cannons.
5 dorsal, and 5 ventral heavy energy cannons.
            4 rear heavy energy cannons.
            Secondary Weaponry:
34 Forward firing medium energy cannons.
28 Port, 28 Starboard medium energy cannons.
26 Dorsal, and 30 Ventral medium energy cannons.
            20 Aft medium energy cannons.

            Defenses:
Heavy bio-armour capable of significant self-repair covers the hull. If more than 15% of the hull is lost, or the ship’s hull is damaged over much of the ship, the ship will die.
The ship’s under armour is twice as thick and more reinforced than the rest of the ships armour. This is to allow the ship to withstand heavier fire from the populace of a planet being culled.
This armour is essentially ineffective against a usual number of attacking Drones.

            Craft:
            10 Scout/Transports
            200 Culling Fighter/Transports

            Other:
Like the first Hive Design used by the Wraith in the Wraith War, the ship is equipped with one inter ship transporter beam system.
The ship must also be within 50 meters of the other ship for the transporter to work.
These only work when both ships have one and both ships have it activated. The two ships beams connect and create a sort of “Particle Bridge” between the two ships that allow the transfer of personnel.
The ship is also armed with 34 large Culling Beam projectors used to cull the populace of a world. These each have several times the capacity of a Dart Culling Beam.

            History and details:
The ship is more effective in size than its Hive counterpart. It is more maneuverable, proportionally more heavily armed. It has vastly fewer Darts and Scouts. The ship is well armoured, having thicker under armour to withstand more punishment from the populace of a World being culled. These ships were found to be very effective. They entered the war in thousands. And were to all knowledge eliminated by attrition, and replaced. They were the cause of the loss of many Human worlds. These ships alone in small fleets were able to cull entire worlds of millions in mere days. More advanced worlds were able to resist cullings, and later into the war, and many Cruisers were destroyed by clever tactics that used the ships design against it.
The top of the ship was less armored than the bottom, humans would often launch a massive attack on the underside, distracting Cruisers from a far more massive aerial assault, including assault from missiles and rounds that were launched from non-line-of-sight weapons. Several dozen Cruisers were lost through this. Lantean weapons often would assault from above as well. A swarm of Drones would rip into the dorsal surface, and gut the ship, destroying it, sparing the use of many Drones, and allowing even more damage to other Wraith ships.
Numbers of course made up for this, and many ships were not given the opportunity to grow the thick lower armour (or have it stitched on as was often the case), and were rushed into combat.
Others were modified to have less lower armour, and armour was taken from bellow and grafted onto the dorsal surface.
This all led to the design of another Cruiser based on this modification.
Otherwise the Cruisers were very effective for their duties. They provided meat shields for Hive ships, and were able to launch mass culling on their own.
These ships formed the economic (if you can call it that) backbone to the Wraith force.

            Name:
            Unknown.
Second Cruiser design used by the Wraith in the Wraith war.
This is also the current example of the Wraith Cruiser in the Pegasus galaxy.

            Role:
            Primary escort to Hive ships.
            Tertiary weapons platform.

            Weaponry:
            Main Weaponry:
The ship is armed solely with many Heavy energy cannons.
Varying significantly between ships do to battle damage, and speed in which produced.
            Secondary Weaponry:
The ship is armed with many medium and light energy cannons. Varying greatly on the ship do to damage and production requirements. They are often armed with several large arrays of light cannons to assault ground positions. These are mostly on the underside of the ship.

            Defenses:
Heavy bio-armour capable of significant self-repair covers the hull. The ship will die if damaged over enough of the hull, or if large enough a section of the ship is destroyed.
The ship has relatively equal armour across its surface. Later in the war the few remaining advanced civilizations of humans would assault the top of the ships, and not do much underneath. The Wraith compromised and equalized armour protection.
This armour is essentially ineffective against a usual number of attacking Drones.
A single drone can do significant damage to the outer hull, or a great deal of internal damage.

            Craft:
The ability to accept scouts and fighters are present. Whether the ships carry fighters varies considerably. They often carry a few scouts for intership transport.

            Other:
The ships are not equipped with intership transporter beam units do to the Ancients knack for causing them to overload.
The ship is also armed with many large Culling Beam projectors used to cull the populace of a world. These each have several times the capacity of a Dart Culling Beam. Many of this class of ship were not armed with these, to save production time and cost, so not all representatives of this class may have them, further it is possible that none with these beams are still in the Pegasus Galaxy.

            History and details:
This ship was designed as a next step in Culling Cruiser effectiveness. The first Cruisers were mass produced, as were all Wraith ships, and were very effective, but their deficiencies were shown in detail in many incidents. This ship was designed to be a replacement, and was produced ad nausium in the war, numbering in the many thousands, even by the end of the war there were many hundreds of these ships.

Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

The MMP is essentially a miniature star ship within a starship. It has its own life support, crew accommodation, armoury, and command centre (used as a back up to the main bridge if it is knocked out). The pod has its own thrusters. A single destroyer sized ion motor at the rear of the pod and 14 gas jets can be engaged to provide the pod with a certain degree of mobility when not attached to a ship. This is used to deploy the pod in an orbital defence mode or manoeuvring a pod to dock with a parent ship. They also have 2 cargo holds, a single mark 2 Naquida generator and a pair of shield generators which act as part of the ships shield network when attached or to shield the pod in an orbital defence mode. It is also connected to the ships own power and control grid. This pod is attached to the underside of the ship below A battery. The Pod fits in between the nose and start of the weapon outriggers. It is attached to the ship by 4 grappling arms and 20 magnetic locks that can be turned on or off for a quick change of pods. A pod can be replaced with a brace of Aquila dropships configured as tugs in less than 20 minutes.

There are 3 types of MMP in use:

                  Weapons pod
2 X 2 barrelled particle accelerators (staggered) with ammo for 250 firings.
60 longbow missile tubes with 3 reloads each.

                  Flight pod
Hanger bay for up to 60 fighters and 7 Aquila transports ready to fly
Bomb farms for a total of 5,000 cubic meters of ammo storage.
4 Machine shops for long term maintance or repair of fighters. 1 fighter per shop.
Has its own Air control centre and pilot accommodation
2 runways, each 120 m long and 30m wide with hanger doors at either end.

                  Ground assault pod

Barracks for 700 marines (standard, max 1200 for 3 days)

                        History
The Pleadies class was created for the purpose of taking on and deastroying Ori warships. Its creators were Ancients who stayed in the Milky Way that didn't want to ascend. The idea was called the Pleadies Project. Many of the systems were created to make the ship take as little damage as possible in combat. The shield system was designed to evaluate enemy weapons fire and adapt the shield to provide the most efficient defense. The weapons were designed to cause considerable damage and destroy Ori ships. Then in 2007, the 1st Pleadies class ship was completed. In its shakedown time, It encountered an Ori warship and destroyed it. The Pleadies was then assigned to Battlegroup Epsilon(ancient battlegroup). When a 3rd supergate was discovered by the Asgard, the ancients sent the Pleadies to the site to help in the defense of the MW. Along with 3 Earth ships, 5 Asgard ships (4 O'Neill class and 1 Ragnarock class), and 56 Hatak class vessels. The supergate then activated and 36 Ori warships came out of the supergate. After the battle, the Pleadies, the Asgard ships, and the Earth ships survived(The Asgard ships fled the scene during the battle). The Lucian Alliance the decide to take advantage of the situation and attack the Pleadies, a mistake they would regret. The Pleadies managed to destroy 10 of the Ori ships that came through the supergate, but got disabled during the battle. Still, the Pleadies was a huge success.

Yesterday i put the a post up for the D-class battleship. here's the history and tech notes

                                History

The idea that became the D-class was first put forward at the height of the wraith wars in 2029.The class was designed for one purpose to kill Wraith hive ships. To this end the class was equipped with the 8 inch railguns and the longbow missile. The craft were also equipped with 6 huge dual particle accelerator turrets. These weapons were simply awesome. Combined with an ultra high tech targeting computer the accelerators could hit targets up to 4 light seconds away, a previously unheard of range. Each salvo of 12 shots could on full power cripple a Standard wraith hive ship in one, or vaporise a cruiser. The Ship had to be adaptable however, and thus the ship was equipped top carry a purpose built pod. With different pod types the battleship could stand in for a light carrier or assault ship. This made the ship more popular with the TSC military council and thus more likely to be constructed.

The class took 3 years to design and 4 years to build the first prototype. With the wraith threat ever present and increasing the TSC authorised the construction of 6 D-class dreadnoughts. They would be called: Dauntless, Defiant, Dreadnought, Daring, Daedalus (II), Defender and Dominator.

The first the Dauntless was commissioned in 2037, and declared action ready in 2038. This ship was too late for the Battle of earth but did help in destroying a reaver fleet in 2039. The ship was put under the command of Admiral Steven Cunningham, grandson of the famous Admiral Sir Cunningham of the Royal Navy in 1940. A decade later, at 49, Admiral Cunningham took command of the most powerful ship built by human hands. A ruthless commander and tactical genius, the Admiral earned a reputation for both never giving up and taking huge gamble in the heat of battle. The Admiral’s 2IC was Commander Guy Raymond a South African who had served on the battlecarrier Oberth in the Battle for Earth.

The Defiant and Dreadnought were ready for 2040. The remaining 4 were threatened with cancellation, due the passing of the Wraith threat and to their huge cost. However each D-class was unmatched in firepower by any ship in the fleet, and with the break out of the Aschen wars in 2041, the fleet needed every D-class it could get its hands on as the D-class was the only ship capable of fighting the Aschen battleships one to one. Thus the construction of the remaining 4 was speeded up and 5 more were ordered.

                                Hardpoints and air-locks

As of 2035 all new and in-service TSC ships had to have a system of standardised hard-points and airgates. These allowed easier transport of men and material between ships and space stations. Also damaged ships could be docked onto undamaged ships to transfer wounded .In extreme situations a ship could dock, lock systems and hyperspace fields and carry the wounded ship away. All hard points were 8m long by 2 m tall and wide and were 25 m apart from each other or the nearest airlock,(mostly) in a straight line along the belly of the ships. Ships also had at least 1 airgate and boarding tube. Each airgate was 7m in diameter and was connected to an air-gate which contained an armoury, de-con/medical bay and control room. Each airlock was made from 20cm thick armour plating, could telescope 5 m away from the ship and was sealed by and twin 20cm thick irises. The boarding tube could extend a total of 30m away from the ship in a 30 degree cone and was made from titanium trusses, carbon fibre and Kevlar. It is stored around the airlock tube and is capped by the airlock itself. Both the airlocks and boarding tubes can be connected to each other via strong mag-locks and titanium locking rods.
Each D-class has 15 Hardpoints, 1 airgate below the prow 35mm railgun battery, and 2 airgates on the ventral island.

                                Key for weapons
Particle accelerator – This weapon is the logical step up from the railgun. Along with Asgard scientists, the brain-boxes at area 51 developed the ultra high velocity particle cannon. This weapon uses magnetic fields to contain an unstable mixture of gases and uses an electric field to propel the particles to almost half the speed of light (relative to the speed of the ship. In order to achieve these velocities the scientists looked toward an existing idea. The idea of using laser beams to accelerate the particle even more was not new. However it had never been tried or tested. This method created an afterburning effect to the particles. The first particle cannon in use were built onto the destroyer Antarctica in 2029 and were over 200m in length. It took 10 minutes to charge but was accurate to 4 light seconds and could knock down a Hatak’s shield in 2 shots. This version of the weapon was designed into further Antarctica class destroyers. In 2033 the Asgard were asked to help refining the weapon. The feat they and the human scientists achieved was huge. They cut the weapons length from 200m to 20m and its recharge time from 10 mins to 30 seconds. This new weapon was destined to replace the 250mm rail/coilguns and second generation energy weapons on all TSC cruisers and battleships. The weapon was ordered to replace the leviathan class energy weapons on the D class. They also proved themselves a potent weapon against both the Wraith and rouge Hatak’s. Now there effectiveness must be proven against the Aschen!

Longbow missile – 10 m by 1.5m, carries 600 megaton naquida enhanced warhead. Propelled by mag-coils until a safe distance away from the ship, then the main ion engine ignites. Used in salvo as an Anti-ship missile but can be used singly to take out massed fighter groups. Typically 4 reloads per tube carried in the ship,

Sabre missile - 2.5m by 0.3m, carries 700 Kg High explosive warhead or 50 kiloton nuclear warhead. Used as anti – fighter missile, can be used as Anti ship if launched En-mass. Typically 28 reloads per cell are carried.

35 mm (150rpm per barrel) and 200 mm (20 rpm per barrel) railguns can fire solid shot or ‘flak’ shot for taking down fighters. A flak round explodes into 100 smaller hypervelocity slivers or fleches when either, A) the targeting computer detonates all shells to form a ‘wall’ of shrapnel a set distance from the ship, or B) via 5m proximity fuse.
