Have you tried out google sketch yet? You'll probably want make the guns yourself. All the weapons I make are like..crappy and innacurate. The only ones I have made that were accurate were the rim-116 launcher thingers. Also, how big is one of those missile cells?

Er... Heh, didn't mean to overload you. The ship's looking good, ZakeD! On the missile hatches: They should fit onto the deck sections with a decent amount of hull bordering them (think of it as the missile cells being armored within the hull). As for the other dimensions, just make sure you can fit twenty-four of them on each side, and you'll be fine.

Fantastic work on all the ships, really! However, the Abydos is looking a bit small next to the Thor-class destroyer. Think you can make her a bit bigger, unless you think we should change her designation to that of a frigate-type vessel?

Thanks. And the Thor was bigger because I increased its size to 200 meters becuase of some miscalculations I made when making the hangars.

Only suggestion I have is try the tutorial. It's in that tip of the day thing that comes up.

Anyway, I'm redoing the Thor. The first model I made of it was really bad. The new one should be done really soon.

I'm posting two small updates on my ship. No classifocation or specs as of yet.
I am posting a picture with the white lines that are annoying me; how does one get rid of them? They can be seen quite well on the third picture. Pease help me with that.

Heres a concept for an orbital defense platform.

Uses 14 small ion thrusters capable of a top speed of around 500kps.
Has one High-energy particle cannon capable of a top power of 5million kW through a tube about 1m in diameter.
Between 5 and 10 are expected to be built in earth orbit costing about £100 million each.

Well it's a concept, so a smaller version could be fitted to the ships.
We need a bit more defense than just the antartic outpost.
Gonna just modelling the taurgarith and hammond ships.
