    I kind of agree. SG1 was a comedy of sorts, would have belittled real life events if they did.

    I think it was fairly clear, and SG1 didn't need to bash people's head in with the similarities. Nowadays, i think it can't be obvious enough.

    Kind of funny but I always kind of thought of the Goa'uld as being tyrants that would make the Nazis pale in comparison. That SG1 didn't do enough to convey that message. this episode makes me think Origins might be trying to do just this.
