Wow I mention the lack of change in my list and presto, one ep gets voted off and another is gone that is only 2 down to be included. So lets try that again. Gee, I've only had 8 episodes changed in 28 rounds.

I guess it's just a matter of degree. I agree with the above(well maybe not the best guest star part), and then they had to go one step further and put her over the top (IMO). Now when I think about that episode I start to cringe.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting to LIKE Stargate SG-1 the first time I watch COTG, I was only looking forward to see RDA after his MacGyver days. I love the movie & thought the change of casts are weird, the story THEN was strange, (NOW it's make sense ), but for the first-time-view, it was rather scattered, only after watching a lot more eps that I began to like COTG, but it still doesn't make my fave eps. So keep your spot.. soft

Ah -you see, there's the difference - I saw the movie way after seeing the series (so felt that cast was weird). I'm also pretty sure I'd seen a lot of episodes before COTG, so for me it was good to see where it all came from.
