This is just a general announcement. If you've been participating in the tournament, and intend to keep participating, you HAVE to look at these "Round Results" posts, and you have to READ at least this top section (above "And here are the results"). Because this is where I post the official notifications of rule changes. It's also where I post messages to individuals who didn't get their votes counted for the last round because of errors, and I explain how those errors can be corrected.

There are two easy ways to read these posts:
1) Follow the thread. Pretty self-explanatory. User Control Panel is your friend. This way, you not only catch these posts, but, if you choose to, you can also read and participate in the episode commentary/critiques/discussion, which IMO is 95% of the fun of this thread.

2) Check out the initial post in this thread. This post always has a link to the most recent round results. If you've missed a round or two, you can use the "Past Round Results" link to view the results of the last round you participated in.

about Past and Present. Wasn't my favorite by any means, but I thought that ep did a very nice job of touching on the subject of the nature of evil and redemption.

LOL4JACK: Nice comments, especially regarding Scorched Earth. (wonderful, wonderful episode).
Re 1969: This ep is one of those that I think I kind of enjoyed at the time that I was watching it, but I don't really remember much about it (except bad outfits and a really bad German accent), and though I've only seen it once, I don't feel a particular urge to see it again. Wouldn't mind seeing it again - I'm just not going to go out of my way to do so. It's gotten to the point where episodes like that are starting to get added to my list - the only eps still on this list that I actively disliked were Beneath the Surface and Evolution Part 2.

Speaking of Beneath the Surface: This episode features four total strangers who bear a passing resemblance to SG-1, but whom I found rather unlikable. And the supporting characters were equally unlikable. And the lighting...

the dancer of spaz: Thanks for reconsidering Scorched Earth. My sanity appreciates the saving. Have removed Entity from my votes. Don't care about either "Smoke and Mirrors" or "Paradise Lost" that much, though - actually, I think I'm going to have to check the ep summaries before I can even remember what "Paradise Lost" was about... And since I'm currently mostly voting for eps that I found forgettable, this unfortunately qualifies. Again, don't care about Smoke and Mirrors enough, sorry

Katherine, Thanks for your comments... regarding BTS, I can understand that for you it is about 4 strangers, as you know I'm a shipper and incurable romantin and as so for me it is one of the most beatifull ep, they recognize "feelings" for each other... this ep comes short after Divide & Conquer, where they both admitted having feelings for each other, being in the mines and not knowing who they are, they allow themselfs to fell for each other, the look on their faces at the end when the realize who they are, the regs... and she calls him "Sir" is heatbreaking.

What GW and belonging to the forum and some threads has given me is the hability to watch SG-1 and have a completly different view from the first time I saw it... that is why for example the first time I saw Citizen Joe, I thought it was OK, with some funny moments... now it's one of my fav eps, just because of all those bits and pieces TPTB placed in their for us... evey time I watch it I'm looking to see what else can I catch and I just love it
